  1. L – Predictably, the number of would be carjackers being, accidentally run over in the dark will
    go up.

On the other hand, perhaps the number of pregnancies resulting from couples staying home without tv or internet service may rise, also.

Another reason to stay off the darkened streets in San Francisco/Las Angeles at night, is to avoid stepping in the Democrat policies, they have paved the sidewalks with.

Isn’t it racist to call power outages brownouts and blackouts? Instead of calling it what it is, millionaire Democrats fighting climate change where they don’t live. No brownouts in Silicon Valley, I’d wager.

  2. I think I’ll fill up my gas SUV and go for a drive seeing as you won’t be on the road to get in my way with your electric car tomorrow.

  3. As my very wealthy, Stanford Business Grad, Great Uncle told me … CA is one of the most overrated places on earth. He lives in Jackson Hole, WY and on the Connecticut coast where he keeps his sailboat. He used to live in Brentwood (yes, OJ’s toney stabby town) CA … and said he’s never been happier than when he left.

I am still planning my CALEXIT … but the Bidinh destruction of our economy has caused me to miss my window of opportunity. Now, I have to hope and pray that my fellow MAGA “Trumpies” vote in such overwhelming numbers that the usual Democrat CHEATS are defeated.

PS … I got the shockingly LOUD and annoying POWER EMERGENCY !!!! notification on my cell phone. Reminding me of the incompetent Green GARBAGE that has taken over our formerly GOLDEN State

    1. Kenji…

It’s their religion. And you contribute to their offering plate and they get to pass the plate whenever they want.

No wonder you can’t afford to get out.

  4. Hmmmm….do you think they may notice that huge swaths of the rest of the country don’t have to deal with these outages?
Or will it be one more chance to feel superior?

    1. Don’t have to deal with – YET. Keep planting windmills, closing coal, nuclear and natural gas powered plants, and voting Democrat. Rolling blackouts are just a matter of time.

    2. California gets a significant amount of power from out of state. What happens to California when/if these states go green and have no power to export?

    1. Guess all the Democrats in California didn’t heed their Governor’s request to turn down their air conditioning!

  5. A basic tenet of engineering is to design for the ‘worst case scenario’. The heaviest possible load, the greatest possible wind, etc. How is it then that the power utility, knowing that half of southern California is in or near the Mojave Desert, was unable to predict that hot temperatures would likely occur? They seem to be able to predict what the climate will be 50 years from now but can’t even design a power grid to accommodate documented conditions occurring over many decades.
