How ironic … I’ve been watching Supertramp in Paris concert (1979) recently … because I’ve always been a fan … first as an audiophile, because their studio recordings are impeccably rich and full … sonic bliss … but I also love every quirky little tune and Hodgson and Davies voices … musical maestros.

            That song brings back a few grad school memories for me. I was at UBC at the time and I listened to an FM rock station from Bellingham. TLWH was on its playlist during the spring and early summer, as I remember.

            I’ve never been a fan of Supertramp. The only album of theirs that I’m somewhat familiar with is Breakfast in America, largely because songs from it got a lot of airplay on the radio while I was either getting ready to go to UBC or was actually there.

            The band first came to my attention when one of my undergraduate classmates had a copy of Crime of the Century with him and I wondered who ST was.

            Then again, I paid more attention to groups like Fleetwood Mac and Boston.

    Those who got vaccinated before they caught COVID are now subject to antigenic pinning. Their immune systems have been permanently compromised with respect to COVID. Hence Trudeau being reinfected so soon.

  10. Covidians – I still see them with their face diapers on. I made it a point to be TOLD to put on my mask – every time!
    Once had a hospital visit in 2001 for scheduled minor surgery, (place was empty) they caught the air holes I had cut in mine and gave me a new mask to wear, threw mine out, lol. I’m truly claustrophobic too boot so this whole crap show rubbed my nerves from the get go. A true pandemic would see food dropped off at the door and NO one allowed out…. scamdemic is what we got, media lied to us, now legal here in Canada – and now we now have to pay for these liars… Quebec will never leave the teats of ROC – I hope the western provinces show them how its done.
    Oddly – I’ve been to the hospital far more often during covid than the last 10 yrs. Reason is I finally got a good physician and they wanted to catch me up on missed tests, like bone density tests, longer heart monitor and all that. Places are always empty. Ontario is home province.

      Your Nation May Vary, but the ‘lockdowns’ have been utter farces. Everyone MUST isolate and NOT leave their homes… except when going to the shops. You know, that place where 1000s of random people converge? Yeah, that are fine, because the plastic sneeze guards on the checkouts will keep everyone safe.

      For me the ultimate sign that none of this was ever managed in a rational fact based manner came in my home state after the local election.

      Government changed in a bit of an Apathy Slide and the Centre Left was replaced by the Left. Naturally on election night they held their after party where hundreds of supports, party members and the like rubbed shoulders in election win happy.

      They were then accused – apparently – of hosting a Super Spreader Event.

      Reaction? The ‘Close Contact’ time period went from 15mins to 4 hours. So you could now sit down and watch Lord of the Rings with a stranger and have zero fear of being accused of possibly spreading this deadly and hyper contagious virus.

      – Hey Bob, heard a guy at the cinema last weekend tested positive!
      – Good thing it was only The Batman. Three hours? No worries.

      Yup, in the space of a week and the stroke of a press statement our local government made the virus 16 times less contagious. Cause, SCIENCE.

  13. It’s not like Dr. Birx (what’s her doctorate in anyway?) was ever in charge of the pandemic response, she was just a low-level helpless bystander to the whole fiasco. She had no more authority than Dr. Fauci, you can’t blame her for anything.

    1. I can blame any physician that believed the narrative that the government sold them without looking at the background and looking at the results of the trials. When the results of the trials were not released these physicians should have been the first vanguard to ask what the hell was going on. Guilty by complicity and association.

They never said you wouldn’t get it, it would just be milder….. I just sent you a video of Fauci saying if your vaxxed you won’t get it, the virus ends with you….. truly brainwashed.     1. You’re friend was right in a manner of speaking. That was the original claim, however that claim was “enhanced” (claiming that we wouldn’t get covid) when the government tried to convince (coerce) more of us into getting jabbed.

      I have a very long memory. I remember having this conversation with one of my older brothers who was first in line to get his first shot, and that original claim was what we were talking about. My brother hasn’t been the same ever since. I had to remind him of that conversation, when he started talking like your friend. Then I showed him my copies of the relevant videos, and I haven’t heard from him since, nor would I want to.

  18. I didn’t get the shot.. The flu is nothing a half a bottle of whiskey and a few Tylenols cant cure.. My philosophy is if your already half in the bag finish it off on your own terms and have a good sleep.. So far a 100% survival rate..

    As for friends and family who have taken the shot.. I live in fear for them.. Its not a topic that can be openly discussed.. If you think us unvaxxed are scott free.. That would be untrue.. Friends and family can not be replaced..
