  1. Don’t worry about the extra people who would die as a result of this “scientific” decision to intentionally sabotage.

There were and are bigger priorities than people’s lives.

President BiteMe was unavailable for comment.

    1. Everybody is passing the buck and no one is double checking anyone.
Same with 787 max no one double checked anything and now they have a fleet of passenger jets that have a design flaw.
The bigger engines gave the planes a center of balance problem that can’t be fixed. Add to this a new computer control that will be giving it conflicting data on how to correct.
Ah but we trust our experts.
      Like global warming.
      Like this Pandemic…

      1. “Same with 787 max no one double checked anything and now they have a fleet of passenger jets that have a design flaw.”

I believe you mean 737 Max?
There’s actually nothing wrong with the design of the Max.
The problem is, because of the desire to increase capacity and use more efficient engines, the Max has flying characteristics that differ sufficiently from the other 737s that pilots qualified on 37s would need to be retrained to fly the Max. The airlines balked at this (training costs money), so Boeing offered to add a piece of software that would enable 737 pilots to fly the Max without having to retrain from scratch on what was essentially a brand new aircraft type.
Somehow they managed to get approval for this. That was a mistake.
(I’m simplifying things a bit, but that is essentially the nature of the issue)

        1. Your right 373 max.
But wrong on the design flaw.

The company decided to just add a larger engine on the same plane design without calculations as to the balance of the added weight and balance.

        2. That’s EXACTLY right!
I personally prefer less kludgy ways of fixing the problem, but.. whatever… to my knowledge no pilot with proper training has ever had a problem with this.
Somebody upstream in the management/marketing flow wanted an easy fix, somebody downstream in engineering ‘fixed’ it with a poorly- conceived notion, and the design-review process and responsible personnel COMPLETELY blew it…!!
(Sorry about the long post, but I spent years engineering aero stuff and a lesser time flying Cessnas and on both fronts I take the needless death of all those innocent folks personally.)

        3. The software and sensors addition to the 737 MAX was an attempt to lower the skill-set required to fly the plane – thus making it attractive to third-world airlines. Notice that not one 737 MAX has crashed in first (or even second) world countries. For instance, I read recently that some fairly large percentage of pilots in India faked their credentials and had someone else take their written and practical tests.

  2. With the (leftist) march through the institutions essentially complete, everything is political, especially the federal bureaucracy and upper ranks of the military. It can not be remedied politically – it can only be excised by eliminating entire agencies.

  3. Let’s just conveniently forget that the President Reject himself said “Slow the testing down, please.”

  4. Option 1: Tar and feathers.
Option 2: Hot tar and drywall screws.
Option 3: Boiling tar and razor blades.

  5. Looks like three more justifications to me:-

  6. July 2009, Obama nominated Collins as director of the National Institutes of Health.
The NIH funded research at the CCP Wuham Bio-weapons lab.
Trump pulled the NIH grant for research at the Wuhan lab based on “conspiracy theories” so said the “experts”.

Collins opposed hydroxychloroquine treatments. The experts OK’d Remdesivir instead.
News flash: Study – Remdesivir Does Not Reduce COVID Mortality
Meanwhile hydroxychloroquine has been used worldwide by the medical community to save lives. Lives could have been saved in the US and Canada. Same for Ivermectin.

“”For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions.…””

  7. “So the U.S. didn’t put more money into the development of new and expanded COVID-19 testing”

That angers me, I have been responsibly practicing expanding for the anal swab test ever since I heard about it.

  8. Given how bad the original test they designed was, it should have been easier to tell them to get out of the way, and start approving deployment of the rapid tests which were commercially available from March 20th onward

  9. WHat’s that bureacratic scientists and odctors manipulating politics to get their money! I am shocked. Now, about that global wamring money.

  10. Wasn’t Dr. Collins the front man for the “solve all medical mystery” genome project? How’s that project going?

  11. Typical public employee behavior. Stand in the road and shout “STOP”. If you are challenged shout louder. If you are proven wrong never never apologize. Always blame somebody else.

  12. “… It’s been a tragic year for those people who lost their lives. But for science it’s been a phenomenal year of doing things.” said the bastard confessing his responsibility for most of the deaths and more to come.
