Social Disease

Cruz vs Dorsey: Round 2

@HawleyMO: Under oath, Zuckerberg admits @Facebook DOES have “tools” to track its users across the internet, across platforms, across accounts – all without user knowledge. I ask how many times this tool has been used domestically against Americans. Zuck won’t say … A @Facebook whistleblower tells me it’s called Centra. Example below. Zuck said he couldn’t recall the name … he’s only the company CEO, after all

Video.

  1. This is why they are terrified if President Trump is back in. Clean up time now that mainstream media is pure FAKE NEWS now. Trump bring back our troops. Biden we need more troops and more wars status quo before Trump.

  2. S.O.S.D.D. Good on Ted Cruz, but here we go again. These activist censors come to the hill, blather on and go back to the valley and nothing changes. Likely their censorship of conservatives gets more brazen. The only way to get a handle on big tech is to do away with section 230, for starters. But we know that will never happen.

    1. Bread and circuses… everyone knows Big Tech are fascists and working together with their Globalist comrades in the Dem Party.
It might be fun to watch these sociopaths lie to Congress, but it is meaningless. You’re right, nothing will happen, so whats the point.

    2. No need to repeal 230. That provision is to protect those who cannot control who uses their medium to broadcast. It only means you cannot sue the telephone or internet provider for slander, libel or treason.
Just deem them no longer protected by 230. They become publishers who pick and choose what can be broadcast. That means they have control and therefore are responsible for the content. Let the lawsuits go nuts.

    3. Twitter has never ‘censored’ anyone. They have no obligation to allow you onto their private platform. Go frolick with the other inbreds at Parler or whatever if you want.

  3. Anyone still using Twitter and Facebook is aiding and abetting the enemy. Either get off or f*ck off.

  4. 230 needs to go.
….and a resurrection of the Senate Committee for Un-American Activities. W/Ted Cruz and or Trey Gowdy presiding and with the ability to lay Charges of Corruption, Sedition & Treason. A 2020 version of the Nuremberg trials with a gallows Just outside the court room.

Every Tech Giant CEO, Every MSM media outlet CEO/owner, every POS Hollywood actor and every Democrat politician in the nation to testify under oath….Fully Televised across the planet.

let it happen….time to DRaIn the SWAMP…permanently.

    1. Thanks for vindicating the decision by the American electorate to throw out the candidate supported by fascists like you.

  5. Just think, a regular here criticized me for expressing a propensity towards violence. Well, where do you think we go from here monsieur critic?

    1. – I believe Trudeau Senior showed the way for us, VOWG – we swish about the world with a carnation in our teeth, trilling “Peace! – we must have peace!”

      – And I mean, why not? – nobody gives a rat’s @$$ what Canadians think about anything anyway.

    2. You mean like woosiefy everyone to be like Trudeau?
Not at all a leader more like a panzie who unfortunately can steal from us and give to his buddies as he makes our lives more miserable.
This is why, I can’t wait for President Trump give Canada a serious dose of reality check.

  6. I have to jump in here with silliness that I just experienced. I was posting on Breitbart regarding Dick, the moron, Blumenthal criticzing BB for a lack of censorship. I wrote back S-it Dick I have been censored here for a number of things and wonder of wonders, they fucking censored me for a hyphenated shit. I can’t stop laughing. It is the perfect description of what I say and rail about on a daily basis, EVERYONE IS STUPID.

  7. We not a publisher, we just have policies about this or that issue – all of them with partisan influence.

IOW, you’re a publisher. They can argue they aren’t but some judge could very decide they are a defacto publisher.

The amazing part is Twitter covered up bad news for Dems, promulgated equally unproven allegations against Trump, and enough voters fell for their distortions, being incurious and assuming Trump could go now and everything would be the same, except without Trump tweets, and instead have elected a party that will surely reward its court jester censors.

They couldn’t be more wrong. Everything that Trump did to make America great again will be reversed.

Regurgitated regulation through green raw deals and other control areas.

Bureaucracy already bloated with partisan political operatives increasing their numbers as Trump supporters are removed, in the irony of ironies, for being political, at least the wrong kind of political.

The usual con of making the rich “pay more” with fantasies increasing tax rates increase tax revenues commensurately or even at all, but of course more than happy to spend the uncollected lucre, so when revenues fall they bring the tax bar down to the people who thought the rich were going to pay for their free stuff.

At the peak of Chretien Grit grifting, the top marginal rate of 54% fed/prov income taxes started at $60,000 annual net income.

Let’s be conservative and say that equates to $100,000 today. Do you see what’s coming? Why do you think you have to report the sale of your primary residence on income taxes? A quick perusal of rental income brings in CRA with their tape measures.

If you elect politicians who lie to you, if you continue to consume media that lies to you, that treats you like a child, how can you expect that to stop? If you elect politicians who smear others, don’t expect that to stop, even if you say you don’t like it.

If you continue to elect politicians who cash in at your expense, refuse accountability, expect more of the same.

In Canada and US we have two pied piper governments, but citizens and taxpayers are the rats not the people.

In related news, Orwell’s 1984 is being moved into the non-fiction stacks, ahead of the inevitable totalitarian overreaches.

Witness mini-Pierre’s disgusting tome, all hail the corrupt UN. Methinks he’s planning a second career.

Statists, aka totalitarians in waiting, can’t resist the easy pillaging coming their way from covid, and soon climate change.

And like morons we elected them. It’s on all of us, even if you didn’t support the collectivists, you get to pay their ransom.

And people are mad at Trump voters why? It seems to me the shoe should be on the other foot.

  8. Off topic
I heard Dick Morris say a while ago that dominion is a shell company.
One of the names of the owners he said was the ccp- Chinese communist party.
    Imagine that.

if this is true, now we know what China was getting for the money going to the Bidens!
    And the turd also??

Better find some rope and lamp posts!

  9. I think they need Section 230 or sites like Parler and Gab will also get punished. IMO it’s the application of that law that needs to be refined. If a platform doesn’t censor, then it is clearly within Section 230. If a platform only censors what is illegal (child porn, death threats, etc.), then it is still within Section 230. If a platform starts to censor based on their “terms of service”, then they are a “moderated platform”. They can still get some protection from 230 but they would NOT have “blanket protection” and would open themselves to punishment by the courts if they were found to have selectively applied their ToS.

  10. Also…. After fixing Section 230, the US government needs to break the big social media companies up. They are such entrenched monopolies that they could change their ToS to something like “We reserve the right to censor anything and everything without giving any reason whatsoever.” and they would still retain control of 95% of the market.

  11. (Bloomberg) — President-elect Joe Biden said Tuesday he would work to rebuild international institutions he said were damaged during Donald Trump’s presidency and that his message to world leaders is that “America is back.”

Gee, doesn’t that shit sound familiar to Canuckleheads?
Cuntface Juthtin said it 5 years ago. Do the Dems and Libs have constantly open phone lines to each other?

  12. Dorsey shouldn’t even attend this disgrace. He should just Cruz the finger and leave. On the bright side this will just make it sweeter when Texas turns blue.

    1. UnMe – Texas won’t turn blue. They decided not to use Dominion’s magic-eraser election software… They aren’t interested in that particular Canadian import.

      1. No horns on UnMe.
When it writes about blue it’s referring to its own nutsack cuz even sexually depraved sub-humans won’t go near an UnMe.

      2. Sure keep whistling past that graveyard. Ignoring the tightening margins of a state that used to be 20 points to the GOP (and where Beto O’Douche nearly matched Cruz) won’t make the trend go away. I’m sure you’ll be shocked when it happens.

        1. You mean like you were shocked when Trump won? Speachless perhaps?
There are disturbing trends. Austin used to be the pride of Texas. Now Texans don’t go there any more because it’s too much like California.
It could happen but you’re more likely to see a great conservative revival like we saw with Regan and Thatcher. As the great feminist Margaret Thatcher said “The problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other people’s money “.

    1. COPE

You realize that if the GOP actually did pull the insane ridiculous nonsense you fantasize about, they’d end up hanging from lampposts right? There’d be a no kidding revolution.

  13. On a separate but important note, Chris Krebs has been fired, he of the ” No evidence of any Election Interference,……CISA”

    https://mobile.twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1328852352787484677

The recent statement by Chris Krebs on the security of the 2020 Election was highly inaccurate, in that there were massive improprieties and fraud – including dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations, “glitches” in the voting machines which changed…
…votes from Trump to Biden, late voting, and many more. Therefore, effective immediately, Chris Krebs has been terminated as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

Tik Tok Tik Tok, Trump keeps making incremental moves and disposing of the duplicitous DS operators

  14. Is this the KRAKEN?

The “Kraken” and “Nautilus” supercomputers at UT and Oak Ridge are both SQUIDS (superconducting quantum interference devices). “Nautilus” was named after Captain Nemo’s Sub. But anyway, the Kraken does 1,000 trillion calculations per second. It could probably be used to investigate the voter fraud, working in tandem with the patented QFS blockchain secure voting system, basically to weed out fake ballots from authentic ones. Just a thought.
