The real question should be “Why isn’t NY Governor Andrew Cuomo on trial for 5,300 counts of negligent homicide”?
The last time I looked, about a week ago, the greater NYC metropolitan area had 4.4% of the U.S. population, and 44% of its coronavirus deaths.
Andrew Cuomo and Bill di Blasio, take a bow. Can you imagine the media reaction if they were Republicans?
But this is fabulous! This means fewer democrats in the US!
If only LA, Detroit, and Jersey City had the same, our problem would have been solved.
By analogy, as long as almost all of the Canadian COVID deaths come from Montreal, Ottawa, Torontl, and Vancouver, then we are going to live in a better country. It ravages QC. Nothing could be better.
The only number that matters is the number of fatalities in relation to the total population. Those are being fudged world wide. Life has been a crap shoot ever since we have existed. It was, is, and will continue to be impossible to protect people from everything and anything that might harm them. Only a fool runs and hides from life. Or as Bonhoeffers said, it is impossible to argue with stupid, a very broad paraphrase there.

I am still watching Brazil,perhaps in 6 months time we will get semi accurate numbers from there and a few other places to see how an unprepared and unprotected people suffer this virus.
I expect the number of dead to significantly differ from the projected pandemic numbers the WHO inflicted us with.
As there are indications we have some “natural” immunity to this Wuhan Virus.
Humans are like rats,we have been through these types of pestilence before.
So many have it so easy today,they seem to forget that for most of our written and oral history we humans have a “Best Before ” date of 35 years.
Thus that deadly sexually transmitted disease, we call LIFE, kills all.
Well if there are any exemptions they are not bragging about it.
Landmass of US is just about the same as landmass of Europe, so appropriate comparison might be US vs. continent. Alaska is an asterisk, but even so…
Canada is at 173 deaths per million so we are doing too bad.
The NYC & Upstate gangsters knew what they where doing…Kill Granny & Gramps frees up wealth for the hatched sperm…. Drug money on both sides.. The nursing Homes were the kill zones….. and they all knew it…

The guy is fully 100% responsible for the deaths of old people. By his actions. Nobody is questioning him.
He should be fired and at least an inquiry should go on, if not a trial.

What makes the Cuomo story even more galling is he feels safe to just blame Trump knowing he wont get much push back from the Media. The other day he blamed the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) but he called it “Trump’s CDC” as if Trump is the head of it or any way responsible for their guidelines. Apparently one CDC guideline was to return Covid positive residents to their Care Home but they were to be separated and quarantined, presumably on separate floors and that didn’t happen in NY. Many other Governors disregarded this and other guidelines that made no sense to their State which is what leaders do. Make decisions. But Cuomo lives in the same NY bubble with all the Corrupt Media so he feels he can get away with anything. Just look at the ridiculous Smother Brothers act he gets away with with his brother from CNN. Fredo. Imagine a Republican Governor doing that? It’d be WORLD WIDE news.
