  3. Reminds me of Poland in 1980-81. Average Chiencoms look at them the same way average russians looked at us. It will take a long time before (if ever) they lose they shackles.         By the way ANYONE who seriously trades long/short EQ positions knows that when it comes to the manufacturing and services that really MATTER to the Chinese economy, the Chicoms are full meritocracy (don’t misread the figureheads who get placed at the top.         The factories where the cronies really do rule are dumping grounds to buy off the party flacks, and keep them away from the serious stuff.

Their stunning current success is like the stunning past success of Cultural Revolution, Great Leap Forward or phantom successes of Soviet Union.       The only breed of humanity that is still reproducing itself and to spare are Negroids incapable of sustaining industrial civilization—but more than able and willing to invade civilized nations and slaughter their inhabitants.

      We have two choices. Either the supremacy of the peoples of the western world are restored, and the globalist traitors who have infiltrated western institutions purged and liquidated. Or industrial civilization collapses, taking most if not all of humanity with it. There is no third option—not even the basic dictatorship.

  6. Sky News seems to be playing up the violence and terrorism angle of the protests. Notice how they don’t really talk about the protesters demands for rule of law and respecting the HK Treaty. It is almost like they are laying the foundations for the future narrative that the protesters were idealists, but the Chinese Government had to crush the dangerous violent terrorist insurrection.

    1. When the rule of law is gone, and you can’t count on deals being kept, the economy suffers, nobody can plan for the future, and society is destined for a downfall. No matter how this plays out, Hong Kong will not remain a center of finance, and every company investing in China for cheap labour will have to consider how secure their investment is. Looks like the basic dictatorship is going to turn their economy around on a dime and head for hard times.

    2. Nope, not unable to handle success. Hong Kong handled success for a very long time.
      What it shows is that the successful must be ever vigilant about the parasites attracted to the success.
      This is entirely a power grab by the communists, and throughout history communists have never built a successful civilization or society, they have only ever succeeded by acting like maggots living off the corpse of what came before.
