Best Canadian Blog
2004 - 2007
Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

That was very, very good. Every one should take time to watch it.
Can’t agree more LindaL – it was terrific. Normally I dislike listening to Youtube conversations: I can read 3 or 4 times the speed of speech, but for some I reason I linked to this – much to my delight.
Agreed, Linda. There’s so much there!
5 minutes – the disruption of her talk at Clairemont.
7 minutes – faculty apathy in the face of fascist shutdowns
10 minutes – why should I listen to student protesters talking about capitalism? They’ve never had a job.
11:30 – the soft bigotry of low expectations. The results at 13 minutes.
16 minutes – the valid charge of racism for black students at elite universities.
20 minutes – rape culture, universities, and the predominant belief that pre-marital sex is good (but not according the to rape culture industry).
Lots, lots more.
