An Educator Speaks

When not signalling his fashionable disdain for all things white and male, and doing violence to the English language in the name of “critical pedagogy,” Dr Lewis writes inexplicably neglected erotic literature.

Me, here.

  1. This lovely fellow must have a genealogical connection to Professor Unwin. Same clarity of speech.

  2. A picture is worth a thousand words. Basically Lewis blames white men (this being Texas, heavily armed white men) for keeping him from fulfilling his fantasies of enslaving and raping white women.

Scratch a leftist “intellectual” hard enough, and every time you’ll find a pervert.

  3. And this sickness and similar sicknesses are being taught to our students today. Those that wish to destroy western liberal democracy will at some point only have to give it a slight push into the dustbin of history. But then, that appears to be the plan.

  4. I’ll Translate all his bollshyt verbiage into plain old ebonical English for everybody:

“Yo,yo,yo,where da’ whitez wimmins’ beez at !”

  5. Too much illegal immigration from calipornia into Texas.
There are real cowboys who might be thinking of making a knot in the ‘perfessor’s tail and pulling really, really hard.

  6. “Because whiteness and maleness are geometric styles, aesthetic questions are intrinsically political and political questions are inherently aesthetic.”

    Heh ….

This is what happens to professors, they run out of things to do and start talking sophisticated bullshit.

After all they have to justify their existence in their useless jobs that pay way to well for hot air.

  7. There’s a real yearning amongst the humanities crowd as they age to actually know something factual. Rather than study a STEM discipline – if only for their own enrichment – they seem to think they already know it and proceed to humiliate themselves.
It’s like decorating their living room with lab equipment.

  8. Believe me, gobbledygook is nothing new. That is, “language that is meaningless or is made unintelligible by excessive use of abstruse technical terms; nonsense,” the precise definition for this professor’s writing.

There was a comedian who styled himself “Professor Irwin Corey” who made a career of this. I hesitate to bring his name up because he was a Communist, nevertheless he skewered such language so mercilessly that even Ayn Rand was a fan.

When I was a grad student (in physics), I happened to have helped a couple of biology graduate students to read a biology paper. The two of them had several dictionaries open, but still could not understand. It turned out to be a report on research of whether some syndrome was prenatal or not. The conclusion was that the sample size was too small to be certain. Big laugh. But since such an inconsequential paper was written in English, they had to fill it with enough technicalise to obfuscate.

At least that was a result of real research, however trite. This is just pure garbage, It is the result of random search of unrelated words. Don’t even try to make sense of it, because there isn’t any. If you do, to the extent you have wasted minutes of your time, he wins.

  9. ask that sumbitch to translate his bullsh!t, you’ll get an even bigger faff:-)))
