I don’t really give a damn about Peterson and I sure care even less for those who think sociology is something needed by society, any society.
Peterson is pretty interesting. In particular he is one of the few voices effectively challenging the left’s view of political correctness. You don’t have to care about him, but he is at the centre of current culture wars, and having a major impact. Yesterday on Reddit, there were no fewer than 23 discussions going about Peterson and his ideas. These were animated discussions with many people hostile to Peterson. He brings an understanding of archetypes and Jungian psychology into his writing and the current culture has lost touch with these things.

Dr. Peterson and Curtis McManus (Clio’s Bastards) would see eye to eye on a host of issues.
Dyson is a prime example of the SocProgs that are destroying western liberal democracy, much like the Sohpists and Cynics destroyed the Athenian democracy, that McManus discusses in his book. And, like them, thinks he is doing it for the good of mankind, or is it peoplekind now. Marx, Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler also thought they were saving mankind. But it always seem to result in the deaths of millions and of a civilization.
I received the video in an email from Peterson, but have not had a chance to watch it. Don’t know about Goldberg, but Dyson is a prime example of the smug Chekist Troika members at Laurier that tried to browbeat Lindsey Shepard.
The sad part of this is that the likes of Dyson control our educational system these days, and even sadder that there seems to be no Plato or Demosthenes to warn us. Peterson and a few others are all we have.
when you live with your head up your a$$, as you do, then when one of these wack jobs kicks your ass, you will have a permanent head ache . Hitler was elected to office, he then started to kill Jews, Gypsies, and gays, the very demographics that would vote for socialists. Let that sink in as you try to ignore reality.
Peterson is not a sociologist, he is a psychologist, and if it wasn’t for him you would soon go crazy having to remember all the new pronouns it would be a crime not to use. We do need a few people within the system who believe higher education is not about smoking more pot.
Remember, if you don’t change your gender fluids every 6 months or 10,000 kms, it will void your warranty.

White privilege? I earned my white privilege taking a crap in an outhouse in the dark at 40 below. I have to look up my copy of Porter’s “Vertical Mosaic” from the 1960s – it’s in a box somewhere. At the time German, Dutch, and Scandinavian people were among the poorest people in Canada. Why? Because they were mostly dirt farmers and the living they made was not far from subsistence. Was that white privilege?
Yet again, this is the racist white liberals’ contempt for other races on full display. I find it sickening to see black leaders playing along with this destructive crap.
‘White Privilege’ is just a different way of stating that other races are inferior and need a white’s hand up to accomplish anything. Absolutely despicable thinking. Just look at how the pandering of the Liberals to our ‘poor natives’ has worked out for them. And, after all their gains made by them last century, the evil Democrats have successfully returned American blacks to the slave mentality of hopelessness. Again, despicabley racist activism, nothing less.
Sooo fixated are these peoplekind on exploiting race, that even their partisan media elite consistently refer to both Mexican and Muslim as races.
Oh yeah, and just ask the countless white guys who were refused even an application to their dream job at the local police/fire dept how well their privilege worked for them.

I’ve always been taught that when you start calling your opponent names then you’ve lost the argument but then that’s all that those on the left have going for them….oops is calling someone as ” being on the left” considered calling them a name.

The contrast between the would be preacher and Peterson is startling.
Peterson comes ready with facts, superior intellect and reason.
The preacher comes with verbal diarrhea, not actually knowing that comes out of his yapper.
Might have had a respect for the preacher if he stuck to the truth. He instead went on with a lot of bullshit.
Sometimes, a description of behaviour demands words that otherwise sound pretty stupid.
I had trouble following some of his bullshit, but it was delivered with passion. I guess that counts for a lot on the left.
