The Tolerant Left

The second attack on Rand Paul in 5 months:

The man responsible for attacking Sen. Rand Paul Friday afternoon was an avowed liberal who frequently fought with his neighbors about politics, according to a report Sunday from The Washington Post.
Local citizens say Rene Boucher, the 59-year-old man who assaulted Paul, was a socialist who frequently fought with neighbors about health care policies and other liberal issues. Boucher and Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, are on the opposite end of the political spectrum, they told reporters.

He sustained 5 broken ribs. Paul was one of the Republicans on the practice field in June.

  1. What happens when your next door neighbor gets out of jail after having attacked you, breaking 4 of your ribs.
    Howdy neighbor…

  2. I doubt he will be able to afford to live there too long because Rand Paul should be able to sue his neighbor. What will be the neighbour’s defense…this is what progressives consider a robust political debate or in liberalworld words and opinions are considered violent so I’m justified in breaking his ribs. I’m not sure a “punch a Nazi” defense, where everyone to the right of Stalin is a Nazi, will work in an actual court.
Then again, this might be more than a political disagreement.

  3. A political doctrine premised on brute force bubbling to the surface in one of its adherents. Paul is a staunch defender of the second amendment. Sounds like he needs to carry his piece.

  4. Kind of looks like the left is becoming more dangerous as they become more violent. The Texas church shot up by a atheist leftist zealot, Rand Paul being attacked in his own yard. The republican baseball team shot up. Looks like the US has cancer that needs healing. Don’t try Canada’s solution by simply becoming one with the cancer. Your ride will be much shorter but then the trip to socialist hell always is a quick one.

  5. It will in the ninth circuit. For that reason, if I was Paul, I would make sure the case was heard there.

  6. I expect this behaviour from an ANTIFA member … not from a member of the AMA. No, as a matter of fact, I dont’t recognize my country anymore. Obama made his followers the most divisive, hateful, spiteful, nasty pieces of trash in human history. Where even DOCTORS are programmed and weaponized for physical violence. In the name of Socialism. By any means necessary.

  7. Heard of, yes. Understood, no.
It’s an apppeal court covering a large area with mostly Democrat appointed judges. 1) It doesn’t seem to cover Kentucky 2)I can’t imagine any judge would allow political violence against libertarians or republicans because it would lead to anarchy 3) I assume Rand Paul would sue in civil court.

  8. I know but most progressives don’t realize how much common ground two of the most brutal leaders of the 20th century shared, theory and practice.

  9. BTW … I just wanted all you militant atheist leftists to know what MY God spoke to me after praying for the murdered Baptists and Rand Paul last night. MY God reminded me that Christianity is not a suicide pact. That every Christian has the right and responsibility to defend themselves and each other. So, you atheists may be feeeeeeeling emboldened to knock off some believers, let alone, some Trump voters … however … I feel it fair to WARN you that all actions have an equal and opposite re-action. It’s basic physics … that I am sure you leftists never studied enroute to your Masters degree in radical beatnik poetry. So please don’t test my re-action skills. It will be YOU discovering your ‘Final Destination’ … not me or mine.

  10. One of the few US politicos I respect. Trey Gowdy also. The rest, not so much.
BTW Trump is not a politico, that’s why teh establishment hates him. He’s not beholden to lobbiests and part apparatchicks.

  11. Exactly. See Saul Alynski, Bill Ayers, and George Soros. Obama was their water boy. Yuri Bezmenov warned us.

  12. Every member of the freedom caucus should be carrying. This foamy communist should be thankful Paul gave him a Mulligan….he had every right to double tap the creep for assaulting him in his own home.

  13. Gee with a name like this guy has IE: Rene Boucher are we sure he isn t from the same place as Justine the Great?
