Given the endless courses and faculty proclamations denouncing “whiteness” as both “oppressive” and a “problem,” something that pale-skinned students should atone for ostentatiously, while promising not to produce children as pale and sinful as themselves, the accusations of racism and divisiveness – because of a small notice saying that, actually, “It’s okay to be white” – may ring a little hollow and seem absurdly dishonest.
I don’t think there is much interest in white supremacy – thankfully – but these clowns are creating a huge amount of anger and interest in white identity. I no longer consider such interest to be racist. Sooner or late you have to stand up for yourself and the civilization you’ve created.
As a former ‘white’ person who has been ‘shamed’ into denouncing his ‘whiteness’ (not to mention lack of gender fluidity), I believe it is time to start shaming ‘yellow’ privilege. While a young ‘white’ student at UC Berkeley, I was constantly ‘victimized’ by ‘yellow’ (aka ‘slanty-eyed’ … see: Yuli Gurriel) privilege. Asian students of all national origin were constantly achieving higher or equal grades as I was. Because of my fellow ‘yellow’ students, I was never mellow at UC Berkeley. Yes, the ‘yellow’ man (and woman) really harshed my mellow. Only now, 40-years later, do I recognize my victimhood. These ‘yellow-privileged’ students of yesteryear all live in nicer homes than I do. They drive nicer cars, and take more luxurious vacations.
These ‘yellow’ students all benefitted from Tiger-Mom privilege. My own ‘white’ mother was sweet and enabling (before she abandoned the family for a new husband). My ‘white’ mother NEVER yelled at me for NOT doing my homework, she never berated me for getting a ‘B’ (when she knew I was capable of ‘A’ work). My mother never FORCED me to take piano or violin lessons. My mother never hired a special tutor to get me through geometry. No. Only the children of extreme ‘yellow’ privilege, with Tiger-Mom privilege received those advantages. I am a ‘white’ … victim. Please feeeeel sorry for me. Thank you.
PS … I am not racist. Racism can only be perpetrated by the apex-race … which is definately the Asian-race(s) here in Silicon Valley. Poor white folk, cannot possibly be ‘racist’. We are the victims here.

There’s absolutely no interest in it all; it’s an entirely phony straw man of the hard left. “White supremacists” and “neo-Nazis” represent an infinitesimally tiny and thoroughly insignificant demographic. I know of no one, even among the most ideologically conservative, who has any use for people sporting swastikas and spouting Aryan-race nonsense.
The comprehensive and total Allied defeat of Nazi Germany effectively crushed fascism as a political force with any broad-based appeal. Too many of our sailors, soldiers and airmen are buried in war graves to ever permit Nazi thuggery any respectability.
If only communism – that other malodorous ideology of the 20th Century – could have been just as comprehensively discredited instead of lingering on, poisoning the minds of feckless young wannabe revolutionaries.
White supremacy, no. White survivalism, yes. There are an awful lot of people calling for my demise, and I will take them at their word. By the time my children are adults they will likely be a part of a minority group who everyone else hates, and we have laws in place to make discrimination against us mandatory. We had best be prepared, because it’s only going to get worse, and it will likely never get better.

As a fellow Californian, I must object strenuously to your assertion that yellow is the apex-race.
We all know there are many areas wherein it is more beneficial to be black or brown. And you must be honest, there are also many areas wherein it is more beneficial to be white. White speech is accepted as the standard. Whites do not get asked when they came to the States. Yellows are always looked on as foreigners no matter how many generations they have been in the country. And the debate of black vs. white for admission to the University of California is a red herring. The effective result of Affirmative Action will be to deny admission to qualified yellows in favor of less qualified blacks and browns, with whites hardly affected. That is because white enrollment at UC is just about at the same percentage as whites in the state, Affirmative Action or no Affirmative Action.
Funny thing about Tiger Moms. Our children accused us of not being Tiger Mom enough when they were growing up. That was why they don’t know Chinese or how to play the piano. And they are not in STEM fields. So they suffer all the disadvantages of being white without any of the advantage.
