The cpc consistently reduced taxes. In one fell swoop pmsh emerged from the belly of a c-130 in acetabulum and Completely reversed Canada’s foreign policy. The TFw program was absolutely vital to further the economic growth of ab BC and elsewhere – just go talk to any retailer of contractor in those areas.
Kenney didn’t beg anyone – he ably presented the policies and values that the party had to the Sikhs and others showing how they very much are in harmony with their communities. And yes they are Canadians – sans the quote marks – proudly so.
As for furthering individual rights note my comments above but also that they moved to get rid of hate crime legislation and other items.
In closing – great politics is prudentially implementing great policy and actions. That’s what Lincoln and Churchill did and it’s what pmsh did. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Look, when you elect him and he’s everything you think he is and more, I’ll apologize for being wrong. However, I firmly believe I won’t need to. In any self-respecting jurisdiction, both Jean and Kenney would be unelectable.
You also think that anyone who holds some sort of government issued ID is Canadian. I think Canadianism is something that is an idea based on English common law and holding to a Western Civilization ethos. When you import the third world, that’s what you get. Kenney went to a bunch of “Canadians”, told them what they wanted to hear and got votes.
Canadian foreign policy means nothing because Canada is unimportant. Only a nation that can defend itself means anything. Calling Washington at the first sign of trouble is not a sign of an important nation. Even Israel means more than Canada.

By your Canadian metric Ukrainians and Russians who moved here a century ago and ditto those from Japan and elsewhere in Asia – all third world countries at the time – should have been let in.
I have worked with hundreds of immigrants from all over the world. The vast majority hold conservative values – of family, law and order, self-sufficiency and enterprise. They want to contribute to this country and buy into the judeo-Christian based western ethos (as trump outlined in Warsaw). You need to get out more.
