Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Cuomo….Cuomo….New York…..
hm. I wonder if the Mafioso have anything to do with this plan.
…replacing a quarter of New York City’s electricity won’t be easy…
DO IT! please just do it.
The following forum has a interesting FARMER discussion on Solar power in Saskatchewan.. Very Very long & confusing (jump to end)..Why Sask Power would think they have a role in selling Solar panels. Every project has a “Mission Statement” that defines the expected results… What is Sask Power’s Mission statement?
The movie TIN MEN (Jack Lemon) accurately portrays why farmers should NOT invest in solar.
http://www.agriville.com/ ……..Estevan considered for Solar power
All the hare brained ideas that the greens have wrought in the last 10 years will ultimately lead to one point. Power shortages. And if Sask Power is going to join the circus, then please Mr. Wall, sell it off to someone who will take care of it.

Read this Forbes article and make your own judgment. I had actually written my own comment–I can’t understand why it would end up locked up in a blog administrator?? Am I at CBC.Ca here or what??

Please … please … please Gov. Duomo ! Please shut-down 25% of NY’s power. Replace it with the hopes and dreams of a ‘clean, green, future’. Please Gov. Duomo. I want to see you telling New Yorkers to calm-down during the first summer brownout. To please stop looting and rioting. I want to see you telling the families of senior citizens, that grandma DIED for your children’s clean, green, future. Her death from frostbite was for the “best”. I want to see The NY Times firing-up gasoline-powered generators to stay online to broadcast his latest green energy columns. I cannot WAIT to see the mathematics-challenged leftists get EXACTLY what they are hoping-for.
There are six reactors still running at Pickering and they are scheduled to run until 2024. When they close we will loose about 3000 megawatts of power. That’s about 3000 wind turbines worth of power if they work, if you build in a 33 percent capacity factor, you’re up to 9000 wind turbines. But that’s OK because we will use deindustrialization and unemployment as a conservation program so we won’t need the power by then anyway.
Hellooooo! Can you please release my comment for the blog administrator??
rotating blackouts should finally make NY a world class city.
Rotating blackouts? That’s why I stopped drinking.
