Rumblings on the delta.

That’s what you get when you elect someone who thinks a hoax will turn your climate into Florida.
The poll follows heavy criticism against the City of Vancouver for its handling of a record-breaking cold spell this winter. As snow and ice piled up, many side streets and sidewalks weren’t salted or sanded and garbage pick up was delayed.

  1. Snow and ice? Lies spread by climate deniers in the media. Vancouver had three reported cases of yellow fever last week. Rising sea waters have inundated much of the city. Wake up, sheeple!

  2. My sister tells me it’s been so cold in Vancouver, Mayor Gregor Robertson has been spotted with his hands in his own pockets.

  3. Icy streets and sidewalks also in Burnaby, Port Moody, Coquitlam, New Westminster (where a friend slipped and broke her arm), Surrey, White Rock and many parts of Victoria.
But all three levels of government (municipal, provincial, federal) are REALLY PREPARED
for Global Warming. Thanks for all the expensive virtue signaling guys!

  4. Ken, I”m thinking the giant ship has started its turn. The media morons that have shoved this scam glowball warming down our throats are being called out more and more and it is incumbent upon all of us to call our representatives wherever and ask “Where is Globull Warming”? This winter is just like the last 58 I can remember, sometimes cold then really cold then warmer etc. This scam has been perpetrated on us all because lazy people embraced another boogieman, mankind always has to have a boogieman, this has been the latest. If this ecoturd that is presently running Vancouver into the ground is spudded then great, cause his bagfaced puppet master is soon to find out what financing every dirty disruptive anarchy group in the world nets one.

  5. The real kicker, in my mind, is the fact that residents are required to clear their walks of snow within a few hours or face a fine but the city can wait a month if they like. But at least they cleared the bike lanes.

  6. I would suggest that George Soros and the Rockefeller’s Mayor in Vancouver is even less popular than this poll supposes… the Medias going to have to work overtime to get Gregorie “elected” again.

  7. I’m guessing he was once again in the Great Hive (aka the PRC), courting Wanting Shoes.

  8. Mayor Bikelane is getting blowback? I guess all that cold weather is waking some of the Left Coast voters up.

  9. What’s new. Vancouver is always in trouble when it snows there. No one knows how to drive when the roads are slushy or snowy; no one has heard of winter tires (or even all season tires); it’s a disaster. Even the communities on the North Shore have problems, though their councils used to be somewhat more aware. Remember one winter when North Van and West Van were just one big traffic snarl every rush hour. Then both councils met and passed resolutions to the effect that, effective immediately, anyone who got stuck in the snow and whose car did not have either winter tires or chains would face serious fines. For the rest of that winter, traffic was very smooth on that side of the inlet – also very light.

  10. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha gasp hahahahahahahaha. Screw Hong Couver. What a bunch of maroons.

  11. My daughter lives near 3rd and Commercial. The sidewalks by her apt. building were a skating rink, she even photo’d them and sent them to the city. Nothing happened,so she went and bought a bag of salt and spread it over the ice.
Still, Vancouver is the only city in Canada where you can raise chickens in your backyard and wheat in your front yard and thus be totally self-sufficient.
The chickens are for eggs only, you aren’t allowed to cut their heads off and eat ’em as we used to do with our chickens, or you will be prosecuted. If you MUST snuff and eat the highly intelligent creatures, you have to take them to the nearest government sanctioned slaughterhouse, which is in Langley, about an hour’s drive away.
Gregor Robertson is THE epitome of the globalist out-to-lunch -bunch politician, and he has aspirations to higher power, and will probably run for the federal Liberals in 2019.
If you think Justin’s a joke, wait until you hear this guy!

  12. it Truly pleases me to see this pin head get nailed once in a while….maybe with luck he’ll get arrested when Kinder Morgan starts breaking ground….
As for driving in Vancouver int eh Wintertime with snow…lets keep in mind the Temperature rarely goes below -10C….and it is in that range when whatever snow does fall, packs immediately into a skating rink…where no amount of Winter/Snow or ALL seasons will do anyone any good….(studs notwithstanding), add hills and its a disaster waiting to happen. IN that Temperature range I think you will find most other cities with drivers just as STOOPID….and completely incapable of driving to the conditions.
its not just a Vancouver thing….its a 400 thing, a 401 thing, a Hwy 2 in Ab thing….and every major city in the country thing …. in THAT temperature range….colder..?? not an issue…and thats the rub…it never gets colder in YVR

  13. Justhin says this carbon dioxide problem will resolved by 2100 . I know math is hard but by then I am sure his great great grandchildren will be laying wreaths at his humongous tomb in Barbados.

  14. Vancouver snow removal?!? Pffffft! It takes them until January just to get the frigging leaves off the streets!

  15. Doesn’t matter. Come election time the normal 32% will show up to vote for Mayor Moonbeam.
The civic lefties are able to easily elect their people. The people who could vote him out are preoccupied with working to put food on the table and shelter for their family.
Others seem to have lots of time on their hands to be able to go to reallies and demonstrations etc..
I wonder where you signup to get payed to be a socialist?

THIS is what we need – people/voters who are incapable of learning the easy way HAVE to learn the hard way. They need to be kicked in the proverbial groin so that they never, ever, put themselves in the same position again.
(Of course, in a few years there’ll be a whole new batch of morons.)

  17. I wish it would be 40 below in every inch of Canada for the next two months. Yea, it would be hard on everyone and everything but maybe then all those who voted lieberal would wake up!

  18. East 3rd and commercial; that’s where my sister lives. She was telling me that Trout Lake was frozen hard enough to support skaters for 3 consecutive days. They haven’t had that for over 20 years.
The snow that fell on December 19th has been a problem for 4 straight weeks, something she has not seen in the 40 plus years she has lived in Vancouver.

  19. Yes the last time Trout Lake froze, early 90’s I believe, city water test crews made a “startling” discovery when they tested the water under the ice and found the fecal coliform levels had dropped dramatically.
The only answer they could figure was the geese were no longer dumping their tons of crap in the lake as they did in Summer when the f-c count was so high it was closed for swimming.
Citizens had been telling city officials that the geese were responsible but they didn’t believe them and didn’t want to have to cull the polluting honkers.
In the Okanagan,we are experiencing the coldest and longest Winter in about 40 years, usually we are snow free most of the Winter, maybe have a few inches for about a month, but nothing like this, and it ain’t over yet! All our secondary roads are packed ice, when they are usually bare and dry by now.
Down the street from us several houses have had their water lines freeze and city crews have been working on them for about a week. Old timers say they’ve never seen the water lines freeze before.
Wild animals are showing up all over town due to heavy snow and cold conditions in the hills. We had a cougar at an apartment building where a friend of mine lives, about six blocks away, there was a bobcat in our neighborhood a few days ago, a coyote in my neighbor’s back yard,a racoon in mine, and tons of birds who usually fare for themselves but now are eating our bird feeders dry every day when they usually last about a week.
    It’s a tough Winter everywhere.
I notice the usual global warming a$$holes are remarkably quiet right now, perhaps not wanting to appear complete fools to a populace of freezing citizens.

  20. Global warming is on hiatus in these parts where we are having a typical January. January thaws have been the norm as long as I can remember, old timers will attest to that and never heard of global warming. It’s a myth, we will never control the weather no matter how much carbon tax we donate to spendthrift governments.
