Anyway Angela Merkel never said it would be a literal bam of the burqa in everyday life. The discussion is solely about a ban on wearing a burqa in specific circumstances. In court for instance. And other “official” situations. I’ll provide a link if I can find the info on this again. An outright ban of the burqa in general would be way too much to ask.
In the mean time: just yesterday an african immigrant, that has bee living in europe for the last eleven years poured fuel over his wife and put her on fire while she was walking down the street of a german city. … the motive, they say, is totally unclear. Maybe he simply wasn’t happy with something she did or said?
Update: Kronshagen, Germany. The woman died at the hospital. The immediate help of pedestrians to try and extinguish the flames didn’t help. The husband is probably going to get psychiatric help… Does it matter that they also have two children?
