Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

That’s odd….Latins get to not assimilate and preserve their heritage
White people are forced to assimilate…
..and I can’t find a wreath anywhere with Merry Christmas on it
Are you also aware that new multi-family residential zoning in SF actually LIMITS the number of parking stalls that a developer can build ? Projects are “allowed” LESS than 1 stall per unit. Yep. SF FORCES its residents to rent a garage for their cars in Oakland. These are the kind of “OVER-regulations”, Trump speaks of that are CHOKING American business. Communists run amok … disguised as GREENS
And you wonder WHY housing is so $$$$$ in SF ?
Gotta love these cities (Wangcouver included) that prefer their rundown slum ghetto neighbourhoods over urban renewal.
Just build it in Las Vegas, Phoenix, or Dallas. You might disturb the quaintness of slum housing in SF.
Yes assimilation is only for European Caucasians, no one balks at Japan’s “lack of diversity” and it’s a G8 country.
Regardless, someone forgot to grease the right palms in this particular smelly Liberal cesspit, that’s all. Pay the right Liberals under the table, and anything can be done.
When a guy in SF with the mandatory gay SF accent showed me his license to beg, I was so impressed I gave him a couple bucks. It was simply so believable that SF would issue such a license. I now suspect it was fake.
Yep – better keep the Latino underclass festering away in their slum. Keep ’em pissed off and voting Democrat.
Deplorable Dan >
“…prefer their rundown slum ghetto neighbourhoods over urban renewal.”
Liberals love the privilege fantasy that their little brown “domestic help” lives the squalor of ghetto life. On one hand they get to feel superior, on the other they can point to a cause.
The Liberal believes a WIN/WIN when their “ethnics” are under heel.
TRUE STORY: When I was a YOUNG college graduate just starting out, I was commuting to SF for my job. I was pushing hard to complete a project, and drove into the Ghost Town of the Financial District to work one weekend. At the end of a weary day on Saturday afternoon, I was a couple of blocks away from the Bay Bridge, on empty streets, stopped for a red light, when a panhandler approached my drivers side window. His complicated sign said that he was trying to return to his military unit in Monterrey, but lacked the necessary bus fare because he was robbed while sleeping at a local hostel. The man’s story sounded credible, and he was a complete gentleman and sounded legit. I gave him a $20 and received his very grateful “God Bless You”. I drove home and told my wife how good I felt about helping a stranger in need. Again, on Sunday afternoon, I left the office and pulled up to the same RED light … and who showed up at my window … but the very same “military man” … as I rolled-down my window, he recognized and his face turned ashen. As he turned to run-away, I asked for my $ 20 back …
I have never given a BUM another dime ever since. Oh … excuse me … I meant to say hoooeeeemmmmme lessssss
My mama always said “Deplorable is as deplorable does”. The Left must break every mirror they see because I doubt they could stand to look at themselves sans rose colouring. Ignorant racist haters.
Ottawa has been hit with a number of “hate crimes”. Synagogues, churches and mosques have been painted with swastikas etc. …some interviewed blamed it on Trump, he has stirred up hatred…..
are your other stories untrue?
Just think, if California succeeds you won’t have them to kick around any more. And if Canada takes them on you’ll have to pick up the costs of all that deteriorated infrastructure. And 33% of the US welfare caseload. The rest of the US is figuring out where to put the customs stations and the fences.
Ha ha ha … I have a close friend who always gives me stick when I use the phrase … “in all honesty” … the same stick you’re hitting me with. Bad habits die hard.
Bad habits die hard.
So true.. it took a while to realize that prefacing my comments with “in my opinion” was rather pointless
But doesn’t that depend upon the nature of the comment? If you’re talking facts, and then segue to your opinion, isn’t it a good habit to distinguish between what you know is true and what you believe?
For example, the universe came into existence and, in my opinion, the balancing of the fundamental forces is a strong argument for the existence of a Creator. It is not up for discussion that the universe came into existence, but it is up for discussion what the meaning (or source) of that fact can be.
In that case it’s all opinion. We assume the universe came into existence, but it’s just as plausible that the universe always existed independent of time. Time could be a human creation to create the illusion that things are not happening all at once.
I do see your point however. I could present a series of physical observations, and conclude from my analysis that a specific change would occur based on the facts, while you might conclude an entirely different potential outcome from your analysis. Predictions are almost always inherently opinions, n’est–ce pas?
think Gorgons.
Predictions and interpretations, yes.
Ha. Captcha is giving stock market advice. “vende, vende.” “Sell, Sell”
Back in the day, 1960s, believe that address was part of a very robust auto row anchored by Don Lee Cadillac. There were still a few remaining when I moved there in 1972. Lovely showrooms right on Van Ness. Those businesses along with the taxpayers packed up and headed for the suburbs for reasons of which you are all familiar.
Heh.
Oh, so captcha is trilingual now. I’ve been hitting all the Spanish. Today its German and English.
