  1. Just looking at the CFL East conference standings. Talk about teams making the playoffs and not even deserving a ‘participation ribbon’.

  2. Gave up thinking about the CFL decades ago.
3 down football can be entertaining but increasingly it has lost it’s lustre. For the majority of Canadians it’s NFL. The average age of a CFL fan is 55 – a diminished return. No future.

  3. We’ve seen what the economy if the future is. It’s the Obama economy. It will unexpectedly flail also at zero or below growth.

  5. The only reason this is breaking is because an independent law enforcement agency looked at Weiner and Huma’s computers and mobiles. So the FBI had to investigate.

  6. The MSM isn’t writing about it, but Mary Jane McFall, Federal Agriculture Minister McAulley’s Chief of Staff is facing perjury charges relating to her testimony at an earlier trial where Burnbrae Farms – her family’s egg empire – defended itself against charges of marketing inferior products.

There is much, much more to this story, involving “missing” court files and Leona Dombrowski, McGuinty’s former Ag Minister, now a Justice of the Peace, who issued a ruling favoutable to Burnbrae Farms (and McFall).
Ian Cumming, journalist for Ontario Farmer, has discovered that Dombrowsky should have recused herself from the case because her family had been involved in a lucrative business transaction with Burnbrae.

  8. If Maryam Monsef were a Cabinet Minister in a Conservative government how long would it take the Liberals and media to make a huge issue of it and demand she step aside? Why is Trudeau allowed to stay silent on this?

  9. ” a 19-year-old Texas A&M University student”
For those who don’t know, Aggie jokes (Texas A&M) are very common in Texas. This will only further the jesting.
From the comments to the article: “without the picture this is next to impossible to prove. I would like to see all the evidence” Yah, me too.
Short version Aggie joke: Aggie researchers make astounding discovery. They took a cricket, put it on the table and told it to JUMP. It jumped. The pulled off a front leg of the cricket and told it to JUMP. It jumped. They continued this process in an orderly fashion from front to rear until the cricket had no more legs. At this point they again told it to JUMP but it didn’t move. From this they concluded that if you tear off the legs of a cricket, it can no longer hear.
I know …. it’s lame but there you are.

  10. “Why is Trudeau allowed to stay silent on this?”
Because there is no effective opposition. There is a liberal leading the conservatives right now.

  11. This morning’s headline at Reuters.
Reuters/Ipsos poll: Clinton leads in early voting
Still shilling for ‘illery, they refer to her email “problem”

Liberal Justine’s parrot is not dead: “No, no, ‘e’s uh,…he’s resting.” (H/T Monty Python)
    …-
“Trudeau takes off to sign EU trade deal, but skies ahead aren’t clear
After the signing comes ratification and implementation processes, in Canada and 28 EU member countries”
“No tariffs are set to come down just yet. These signatures simply kick off a ratification process.
And it’s not a simple one.”
“… 28 member countries of the EU need to vote in favour for the deal to be provisionally applied…” (cbc)

  13. Since this is a Canadian Blog, I thought there would be more interest in bill C-16.
I posted this on 10/26 but it got no interest.

he and she, ze and zhe, they and those, and other pronouns for the alphabet people (LBGTEFWXYZ) is apparently about to be mandated by law in Canada.
“Jordan Peterson, a psychology professor at the University of Toronto, posted a YouTube video criticizing the proposed Bill C-16, which adds gender identity and gender expression to the list of prohibited grounds of discrimination.”
I accidently saw this TVO discussion…. it’s not something I would normally watch …. and got hooked. It was on TVO. I guess that is TV Ontario. Anyway, it just caught my interest and might yours as well. It gets better as it goes along….. but it is long at nearly a hour. Some interesting panelists.

  14. John Galt:
In a month, they’ll be suing!! If unsuccessful, in a year, they’ll claim sexual abuse. And if that don’t work, they’ll blame climate change and the fact that the whales are too thin!!
It’s a never ending sink hole of welfare and self pity!!

  15. David, we here and others in Canada who keep themselves informed are well aware of the Marxists efforts to neuter Canadians. Unfortunately many people have been dumbed down enough that they cannot see where this is going. Ontario and Saskatchewan, yes Brad Wall, have already neutered birth documents.
