Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch, and … he’s heading for the exits.
Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron is to stand down as an MP, triggering a by-election in his Oxfordshire seat of Witney.
Mr Cameron, who resigned as prime minister after June’s EU referendum, said he did not want to be a “distraction” for new PM Theresa May.

The news was so nice she post it twice……
Brexit – get on with it.
G’bye Dave. You won’t be missed.
another glowballist lefty bites the dust
actually he’s doing what is best, he would be a huge distraction as a regular member of the house
Camerexit.
Whatever you might think of Cameron, he knew when to do the right thing.
(Canadian politicians should take note.)
Last I read there have been 400,000 new jobs created in the UK since the Brexit vote.
Italy’s ‘real’ national debt to GDP ratio now rivals Greece. Like Japan EU governments are now buying stock in their banking system to keep them afloat.
And so the Boy Dave walks off into the sunset …..
No wait ! Is there no justice for common decency and the yeoman any more? Is there no one to uphold the the ancient laws of the land that demand those traitors be held accountable ?
OK Not holding my breath …. Hmm crickets eh ….
Good riddance. Cameron was more progressive than conservative.
A model for politicians everywhere. Bet all his chips on the Brexit vote. Lost. Resigned as PM. Thought about it, resigned from Parliment.
And not a year too soon.
Pretty normal for former prime ministers to resign their seats within a year of losing office.
Saying he’d resign his office if the referendum disagreed with him, and then doing so is something for which we should think well of him. I can’t think of anything else but in that he did the right thing.
