  1. Most excellent news that Britain is out of the EU. The only election that will make me happier is when Trump wins.

  2. Some co-workers of mine saw the new National Anthem sung at the Argos game. They were all surprised that it had been changed. This is why Trudeau is the Prime Minister.

  3. Same here!
I guess the dipspit, John Kerry, was wrong about the world being borderless now. 🙂

  4. I see that PM Gilligan says that it is “up to the people of Britain to decide their own future”, or some such twaddle, too bad the insufferable twit doesn’t believe that Canadians should be afforded the same consideration regarding Canada’s future voting process. Andrew Coyne must be crying himself to sleep tonight while he soils his bilderburger onesy desperately clinging to his homemade Pierre Turdo doll. Way to go Brits!!

    “Alone
    The rebellion is real.
The New York Times reports that Britain has voted to leave the European Union by a 52 to 48 margin. The significance of the event can hardly be overstated. The biggest political project of the post-Cold War world, involving an economy collectively as large as the United States, has suddenly been thrown into reverse.
All of a sudden the invincible status quo looks very mortal. The BBC’s Katy Kay understood a Brexit win would signify everything had changed. If Brexit could win then Trump could win. If Trump could win the world was upside down. The unthinkable was no longer impossible.”

    “Alone”
“They had worked it out for themselves. For the second time in 80 years that little Island has bought the world a space in which others could rediscover their own hardihood. And rediscover it doubtless they will, as the New World did of old. Today the Brexit rebellion showed that daring could prevail against bullying, truth could win against prestige, plain speech could trump celebrity and long odds were vincible provided you never, never gave in.
We live, as Winston Churchill told those schoolboys at Harrow, not in dark days, but in great days.”

  7. Is there any way that the Democrats will use the Brexit result as an excuse for “better” washroom access and more gun control?
I’m sure that Shiny Pony and Red Rachel will claim that Brexit only confirms why we need carbon taxes.

  8. The demagogic duplicity of Dems desperate to change the channel, now with Brexit’s bitch slap of super-statism, channeling their 60s nostalgia.
Except, they’ve all sold out to the establishment. Minor point eh?
“Congressional Democrats’ Sit-In: What a Pompous Exercise in Virtue-Signaling.”
“The Democrats shouted “Shame!” when they have none. They invoked the language of civil rights to try to deny civil rights. They were hailed from the left coast to the far-left coast. In the meantime, there’s an actual enemy out there, and that enemy won’t be defeated by songs and chants. It will take bombs and bullets. And if the Democrats want to signal their virtue, they should do so by focusing their fury at the men who want to kill us, not at the law-abiding citizens who want to defend their homes, their liberties, and — yes — even the politicians who chant to take away their rights.”

  9. I figured he’d make some kind of asinine statement in response to Brexit. I had no idea that he would say something that absurd.

  10. Followed by that of two provincial premiers. (No names mentioned, of course.)

  12. He is a brilliant speaker – no um, uh-uh-uh, ums like our Fearful Leader. I watched it twice.

  13. The markets are taking a pounding today in response to the Brexit outcome. I’m not surprised because they don’t like uncertainty.
    I’m not worried–I survived Black Monday ’87.

  14. “…Is there any way that the Democrats will use the Brexit result as an excuse for “better” washroom access and more gun control?

To us it is humour or sarcasm, but I am sure somewhere some liberals are thinking seriously about such things…
some leftist somewhere is probably writing – right now – an article on how global warming affected the judgement of the British people and made them vote to leave the EU.
The craziest thing we can think of, the left will do worse.

  15. What a bizarre comment — and somewhat insulting to the British. Does he think they are barbarians or something — not capable of civilized and fair policies unless ruled from afar? Undoubtedly, since he takes his orders from the globalists (and of course the EU was run by the globalists), he has difficulty imagining others embracing democratic and more local rule as a good thing. The guy is really out to lunch.

  16. Bill S-223, an Act to Amend the Firearms Act, seemed to have stalled out at the thirteen day and counting mark, before it was supposed to be dropped from the order paper. Check out the count from the 14th to the 17th of June.
    http://www.parl.gc.ca/ParlBusiness/Senate/OrderPaper/Calendar.asp?Language=E&Parl=42&Ses=1
It’s suddenly brought for debate on the 21st, well after the 15 days were over. The count has started over.
It’s time to drop a line to a Conservative Senator and have it raised as a point of order. The bill should not be on the order paper at all.

  17. I had to google this;
“I shudder to think what the future of feminism in the UK looks like now that it has chosen to leave the European Union.”
Because I simply could not believe Trudeau actually said it.
He is even more stupid than I had realized.
I will go back to calling him Jutimbecile Trudeau.
    He is supremely imbecilic.

  18. I thought he might say incomprehensible gibberish like, say: “The rainbows are yodeling. The unicorns are sad. Canada’s back.” Either way, he doesn’t seem to be connected with reality.

  19. Prominister Selfie McZoolander Trudashian probably shudders when he sits down to pee.

Letters of Charles and Mary Anne Lamb.

  21. It was a case of now or never. Fortunately the eastern European and muslime immigrants were a million votes short of taking over the country. That was close.
I don’t expect anything rational from MrSelfie the Shiny Pony, he’s just the figurehead; Butts is the real PM, and he’s a devious socialist whore.

  23. He contributed to the recording of the soundtrack for the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
    Great stuff!

  24. I think he is in trouble anytime he is not scripted. Clearly they forgot to give him something to say re BREXIT happening, and he again reminds us that he is an idiot.

  25. Justin is his father’s son. PET replaced the British top down and limited government liberalism with French top down big government that “manages” economies, “invests” in government, and “creates” jobs. The fruit doesn’t fall far from the statist stupid tree. PET ran up such a debt we are still paying for it today; now mini-Pierre wants to start a new round of excessive borrowing.
At least PET never said anything as stupid as wanting to govern “from the heart” instead of reality.
