A tour around the Internet today uncovered some interesting finds:
- Red Star: Why Stephen Harper has no fear of strategic voting
- National Observer: How to vote Harper out
Both are “interesting” reads on their own, if only to see how deranged some Leftist Canadians have become, being out of national power for so long.
While the views of the Red Star are well known to all SDA regulars, those of the National Observer are likely not. A quick search revealed that the editor is one Linda Solomon Wood, who turns out to be the sister of Joel Solomon, the “brains” behind Vancouver’s repugnant mayor, Gregor “Aren’t I fabulous” Robertson. Both Solomon siblings are Americans who transplanted themselves to Canada to inject their version of “progressive” politics into our country. One wonders how many Canadians realize how deeply they’re being manipulated by these foreign propagandists?

The NDP does not want to lose it’s historically new position as the official opposition so it is very unlikely that ideological NDP supporters will strategically vote Liberal.
However in Quebec, the NDP powerbase last election, the NDP support is slipping with the Libs and even the Bloc seemingly picking up support.
The vote splitting in Quebec on the Left is worsening.

According to the above poll, it looks like the CPC will be benefiting.
Yep.
When the left is in power, we must bide our time and go on with our lives. When the right is in power, the left has no life, they become more neurotic than they normally are and they cannot go on as things are … they NEED to get rid of the ‘interlopers’ who are infesting THEIR hallowed place of worship. That would be at the alter of other people’s money.
Our politics has become sick and very personal and will not endure much more of the sort of degradation that we see happening in both the US and Canada. Friends and families are starting to break up over politics.
That tells me that we have too much government and it is warping the minds and emotions of everyday people and turning them into weak, needy, useless garbage.
Spot on analysis!
The prime reason?
Politics IS the religion of the atheist left. That explains their Derangement and obsessive intolerance to anything not of their tribe. We are heathens tot he left and ‘must be destroyed’.
It explains much of what they believe, what they say and how they act.
In these two cases, “Yankees, go home.”
No comments allowed on that 1 particular ipolitics article…what a shocker.
Explanations are not the stock and trade of the left – they only complain and never explain. They want to tell you how and what to think, not explain things to LIVs. Trudeau’s entire campaign, full of platitudes and poverty inducing policies (if your family has the temerity to earn over $45K per year) and is aimed at the LIV, hoping to use phony issues to sneak into power the way Obama did, based on hope and being a cool progressive, going after the 1%, who clearly are the ones dragging down economic performance in the progressive ironic/paradox world of “reality.”
The niqab is a case in point – taking an utter fallacy, the religious freedom of the niqab, to defy the wishes of the electorate, telling them what’s good for them, but in truth what’s good for progressives, and their job prospects & rent seeking cohorts, which is their true goal. Add in false economics, moronic free trade stands and “Harper must go” delusion, mixed with constantly moving goalposts, to convince fools to sell away their economic freedom to inexperienced statists who couldn’t properly plan or manage a two person attack on a three hole outhouse, let alone facilitate a national export-based economy needing to constantly fend off protectionist fools and Kyoto rent seekers.
How can a party rise when it arrogantly tells voters what to believe, in spite of their better instincts, but refusing to show the (non-existent) evidence for their better “thinking?” Easy – appeal to the basest instincts of the LIV. The question remains of how to get the apathetic/LIV vote out – a risky premise indeed especially after a required Tory reboot.
The Conservatives would be well advised to not play if safe for the final two weeks and really go after the statists, since the mediocracy refuses to do their job with a proper enumeration and evaluation of campaign issues, deciding instead to advocate for their boy and never challenging their false narratives. Ads about paying more taxes and payroll costs under a Grit government are nice and somewhat effective, but the knife must be sharpened to expose the duplicity, misinformation and hypocrisy of the Trudeau/Goodale mentality.
The Conservative base is set and motivated to turn up at the polls, so the blue Grits in Ont and BC voters must be convinced to not do something really stupid, as the NDP turn their guns on the Grits, and given the meme of strategic voting is truly and practicably dead.
Something wrong with a philosophy that calls for a vote against an idea, rather than a vote for an idea. These leftards make me wanna puke.
As Rush Limbaugh often says, lefties are never happy, even after victory. As soon as they win, they bring up new grievances.
“to see how deranged some Leftist Canadians have become,”
Lefty hate is righteous hate donchaknow.
Same as lefty lying, cheatin, defaming, connivance, extortion, theft, treachery, sophistry and hypocrisy – all are sanitized, all are sanctified and justified when bathed in the purifying light of political expediency – which is what takes the place of a moral compass in an SJW. And they are totally remorseless, vengeful and craven.
Basically these people are scum – but that is a just personal first hand observation after a lifetime dealing with them on a professional basis.
They pick leaders who are as morally compromised as they are – if not more so.
So when you’re around them, never trust one, watch your back and carry lots of rat poison.
Agreed. The left has had ninety-eight years to practice their hate.
J, well said.
One wonders how many Canadians realize how deeply they’re being manipulated by these foreign propagandists?
Basically….0.001%. Nuff said
Why would anyone in his or her right mind hold their nose and vote for a party other than the one they traditionally support? Have they that little faith in their favourite candidate? It just boggles the mind how some people think. If Mr. Harper attains another majority, the predictable and tedious crying from the left about vote splitting will be deafening. From a personal point of view, if I had to decide between Liberal or NDP, I would stay home on Oct. 19.
Facebook has a group “ABS voting – anybody but Stephen Harper” It has 38 followers. I think the Harper haters enjoy a media coverage that is disproportionate to their number.
These SJW types so scrambled up they cant think streight like with most liberals
We can only hope that the left wing parties can never figure out that their only real hope is uniting. Harper’s genius is that he and his team managed to do just that and end vote splitting on the right. The left will continue to howl at the lack of democracy by which a party can get a majority without a majority of the votes even though it doesn’t bother them that they have or would have to be in the same position in order to be successful in Canadian politics.
However, it drives my left wing friends crazy when I tell them that Harper, for good or bad, is essentially the only liberal in the race.
Please don’t send them back!
