  1. If I didn’t know better I would swear that the graph seems to indicate a wave pattern (cycles – natural cycles) but I know that can’t be true the IPCC says otherwise.

    Jerry Taylor of the Cato Institute tells a story about Julian Simon, the late and great economist. He was at some environmental forum, and he said, “How many people here believe that the earth is increasingly polluted and that our natural resources are being exhausted?” Naturally, every hand shot up. He said, “Is there any evidence that could dissuade you?” Nothing. Again: “Is there any evidence I could give you – anything at all – that would lead you to reconsider these assumptions?” Not a stir. Simon then said, “Well, excuse me, I’m not dressed for church.”

  5. The sad part of this is that who knows how many tens of thousands of people read this article originally and believed it. Plus, who knows in what other mediums these lies have been published, also having tens of thousands of people seeing or reading this. Who will see the real evidence exposing these lies…a few here and there.
    Half of the leaders debate last evening revolved around the lie of AGW.

  6. Another piece of “settled science” clearly shown to have been utterly wrong, but which never should have been questioned.
    Maybe we could hear from one of the alarmists out there. Is it the wrong kind of ice? Is Dr. Barber not a “real” scientist? Has the “delayed Pinatubo rebound effect” struck again? Was the “wrong” computer model used and the “right” one, buried in someone’s basement, actually predicted this all along? I’m genuinely curious.

  9. I happened to check into Weather Underground (wunderground) today to get some wind speeds. They has a supplemental set of pages on climate change. They went into extreme detail about what was going to happen on climate change from surface temperatures, ocean temps, polar ice and oceans rising. They went into detail as to what the effect of climate change on each of these :disasters.” Attached to each explanation was a graph or graphic showing the data. Not one of those graphics had any data. Not one. According to their explanations, New York should have water in the streets, there should be no polar ice. After getting to that point, I stopped reading for information and just read a little more for humor.

  15. Actually NASA and NOAA are disingenuous in their Arctic ice reporting. For instance, they start their satellite record of Arctic ice extent in 1979 whereas the actual satellite record extends back to 1973. Is it coincidence that 1979 was a high point in Arctic ice extent and the 1979 extent was considerably greater than the extent in 1973. Don’t believe me? Look at the first IPCC report (1990). Even the idea that 36 years of data is enough to pin arctic ice decline to AGW is ludicrous considering the full cycle of the PDO (Pacific Decadal Oscillation)appears to be about 60 years. Consider also that the PDO was considered to have “flipped” from its cold phase to its warm phase in 1977, just a couple of years prior to the deemed start of satellite measurement of ice extent. Also, the AMO (Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation) has a period of 60 to 80 years and it also has an influence on Arctic ice extent. To me, the selective reporting by NASA and NOAA smack of noble cause corruption. Kevin Trenberth of NOAA is a signatory of a recent letter to Obama suggesting the us of a RICO investigation to attack organizations questioning climate change science. These guys are not your ideal of dispassionate and rigorous scientists, they are advocates primarily and foremost. Caveat emptor.
