The clever Democrat Politicos develop the plan for giving cover to their weaker un represntative Democrat Representatives. This cannot be a “slippery slope” towards the U.N. dominance moment for the American Great Experiment

They powers that be had already caved on the Iran deal when the Senate didn’t retain their treaty oversight authority by simple majority.
In short, it was ‘capitulation by design’…to provide political cover.

I’m currently reading ‘This Town’ by Mark Leibovich (disclosure: he writes for the NYT)- an amusing book that illuminates the incestuous world of Washington DC – where everyone from politicians to lobbyists to journalists is part of a big ole’ club where EVERYONE is on the make. It’s all part of being ‘someone’ and it’s all about attending the best parties, stroking egos, making deals and connecting with the money.

Nicely done. Very close to my view of Trump. It may be, though, that Trump truthfully views unfettered illegal immigration across America’s southern border as a bad thing which he alone is in a position to bring about a moratorium on.
I think many Americans, especially the ones who understand the meaning of being Americans, instead of wanting to be “Citizens of the Global Village” see this unfettered illegal immigration as the most important issue of the coming election cycle.
That is why they like Trump and the establishment elites of both parties view Trump with horror.
I still don’t like Trump, but he is narrowing the field for Cruz who is acceptable and my favourite to win the Repub candidacy.
