  1. “they have now shown that that low vitamin D is result of other risk factors, rather than a cause of increased risk.”
This was done in Scotland! Just been in Scotland is a huge risk, ask any sheep if the sound of a zipper sets them to a running!

  2. So correlation is not causation? I thought we learned that already?

  3. Correlation and causation can be a bitch to unwind.
Which is why dietary science has a worse reputation than climatology these days.

  4. There is a very strong correlation between daylight and sunrise as well. An equally strong correlation exists with sunset and darkness. If one of your biggest advertisers wanted you to say the correlation was not necessarily caused by the rising and setting of the sun you’d probably go with half-baked crap like this as well.

  5. I’ll take this latest study with a grain of salt. And what’s “winter disease”?

  6. Yeah…. INDEED….
I FIGURE Woody Allen’s “Sleeper” not just genius but eerily prophetic. We didn’t have to wait 200 years either.
    Now debunked notions:
    of salt/sodium elevating blood pressure….
Dietary fat affecting cholesterol deposits in blood vessels…
    Stress causing stomach ulcers….
Will the much celebrated correlation between smoking tobacco and lung cancer be next?
The AGW hoax has poisoned the waters of scientific relevance.
    I now eat what I like when I like….
