University (apart from the training in practical skills like engineering, science, math, etc.) has become a finishing school for dissolute elites who are being groomed to be the next generation of shadow masters in a vast global version of Plato’s cave. They will take over maintaining and expanding the grand illusion of “social order”.
My greatest dream is that one day the population which is chained to the wall of Plato’s cave watching the shadows these deceiving elitist scum cast on the wall , free themselves from the illusion and walk out of the cave into reality and freedom.

Certainly, Western civilization needs a major clean up in the education system. On the topic at hand here, the general problem is that our culture has developed the false premise that education = Intelligence and wisdom.
The halls of academia filled up with anybody that can afford the ticket (or not) and thus the path to mediocrity brought us where we are today. Mediocre teachers multiply and gives us mediocre elites. But there is more to that. There is the thorny issue of good and evil too.

A truly wise man understands the complexities and more so the imperfections of human nature. This is to say that he has to be a critical thinker, always curious.

This leftist viewpoint is similar to that of Canada’s Liberals when they express the idea that conservatives or anyone who does not agree with them is bad or unCanadian. This antidemocratic modern liberalism is so embedded in the infrastructure that they think this gives them license to denigrate alternative thinking as subnormal.
