I agree with marc in calgary. This time the cops showed up and spent most of their time with the Marine. I wonder if the Calgary Police had had the temerity to show up when the Palestinian mob attacked Israeli supporters, they would have spent all their time questioning the pro-Israelis? I guess we’ll never know….
This is an analogy of the whole situation today. The former marine is Israel. Standing alone, principled, brave, well trained yet restrained. Meanwhile he is surrounded by hoards of belligerent, angry and hateful Muslims, who are ‘incited’ by the very fact of a lone individual in their midst standing against their Sharia dreams.
And the world, as represented by the police, question the motives and the ‘provocation’ of the lone voice of sanity.

Another reason why rights and freedoms that are exclusive to the civilized world should never be extended to medieval barbarians and why said barbarians should be treated accordingly to norms that are characteristic of the place they came from.

Excellent analogy. Can’t believe the size now of these muslim protests. Just shows the vast number of muslims in our countries now and it seems most of them don’t work just as they do in their former countries.

Yes, to some extent Israel and the Jewish people “started it” – by daring to exist.
It gives great insight IMHO to the incoherent “progressive” demonization of Israel – they don’t (have a right to) exist, so are the “agressors,” which makes the Palestinians “innocent victims.”
They’re victims all right, of their own making and by design by their Arab brethren who consider them inferior, just above Jews, dogs and pigs.
Maybe some day the Palestinians, and other victim societies, will learn their victim handlers have all the power, they are the ones who keep them down while earning a good living “representing” them. Palestinians’ only hope is friendship with Israel, who treats Palestinians better than anyone else (many live free and prosperous in Israel); IOW they have no hope due to their own conditioning at the hands of their “brothers.”

When the 9/11 twin towers were destroyed, did anyone condemn the Montreal Palestinian students that were cheering as the bodies were falling ? If our system can’t get rid of these degenerates over something like this, your country is lost to this scum !

When the left and the MSM were extolling the virtues of the Egyptian Spring I posited with many others on this site that the Muslim Brotherhood was only a cover for a barbaric organization. As most of the readers on this site realize there is no reasoning with barbarians. We have allowed these infiltrators into our society under the banner of tolerance and understanding, multiculturalism, brotherhood and all the other banners of the left. It may be already too late to rectify the position we now find ourselves in, but perhaps not. With our future at stake perhaps we should cease all foreign aid (and I mean ALL foreign aid), cease all immigration, demand a ten year probation on citizenship for foreign nationals already here with automatic deportation for criminal behaviour. Does this sound barbaric, racist? So be it, you fight fire with fire. It has taken 800 years to develop the Western culture to where we are today if we keep up the leftist mantra of diversity and understanding we will find ourselves on the threshold of oblivion within 10 years and that is really barbaric.
The progressives have succeeded in hollowing-out Western civilization (if any proof is needed look at the pictures below this thread). The order and simplicity of submission to a confident, seventh century, all-encompassing, unforgiving, life-rule (mysticism based on rewards in the after-life) is an attraction that thrives in the nullity of multiculturalism after history, culture, reason, and or reformed Christianity and Judaism have been degraded or removed. Much of the Imam’s work has been done for them. We are moving to where we can produce the mindless savages from which they can build a caliphate.
