  14. For awhile after the SEIU / prostitution sting, I thought everyone would shy away from James O’Keefe and his type of journalism exposé. Clearly he couldn’t continue to be involved on both sides of the camera as his face is burned into their memories now.. curious if Josh Fox understands that.
    Fortunately 95% of Hollywood types are prostitutes and will do anything to further their lifestyle. What was the lawyer’s comment? “it’s 97% of lawyers that give the other 3% a bad name”?
    I applaud James’ efforts, and hope he’s careful of what he eats on a daily basis.

  19. That video is very repetitive and could be condensed to about 3 minutes. It reasserts that the ends justify the means, that the institutional left owns the culture and the bottom-feeding Hollywood left are mostly overpaid, empty, whoring, elitist assholes guilty of hypocrisy and serial transference (Hitchcocks “cattle”). Greens are fanatical church police inquisitors, they don’t care where their funding comes from. This will be slightly embarrassing for them but O’Keefe and the tea party types will be chastised as underhanded slime as a result. If you can stomach it, watch the mindless leftists on “talk shows” over the next few days as proof. Even Fox News was wimping-out over it.

    Coupled with the clear statements by the “the Saudi” that this was about keeping America on the drip from a luke warm (ally wise) foreign country makes these guys out to be the unpatriots that they are.

    An intern at a PR agency sits around all day creating Twitter accounts. When a client wants to appear as though 442,000 people care to know what he/she tweets, they pay the PR agency to have those accounts signed up as followers. It doesn’t cost much, any of the accounts can follow multiple clients.

    1. Removing objectionable posts is not censoring. A blog owner is no more obliged to display a post than a newspaper is obliged to publish a letter to the editor.
    2. Kate has been known to remove objectionable posts. I don’t know how often she does this or what her criteria are, but she is often critical of the vicious and violent tone of some progressive blogs.

  34. So, I look Ed up and sort of recognize him as a crap character in low grade film. Two or three sites have his net worth at about 5 million (which, for all his years in Hollywood ain’t much). He has 2 properties in Hollywood so….. who’s forking out $4.5 million?
    Mariel Hemingway (also barely recognizable)is worth $12 million thanks be to familial suicidal tendencies.
    They were not fronting a dime. That’s the super secret. Take $4.5 million and set fire to a hose on a propane tank. If 10% of the population sees it and they bring home $2.00 for every viewer that’s a quick 61 million. The funny thing is that if Ed or Mariel were in the film, no one would go to see it. Now that’s the non-starter.

    Apparently Telus does carry Sun News now. Tune in as Ezra has been doing a pretty
    thorough job not just on the Americans funding the eco movement in Canada but also on their funding of the anti pipeline groups. He had Jason Kenney sputtering a little the other night. Kenney was suggesting that the CPC have no control over investigating foreign money coming to Canada. Investigation was in the hands of Revenue Canada and Elections Canada. Not exactly hotbeds of conservative thought.
    My concern is this foreign agitation is most probably extending beyond the enviro and oil protests to funding forces opposed to the Harper government in the up coming federal election. One would have to be very naïve to think otherwise.

  41. Cross contamination with hydraulic fracturing only happens if the casing fails. New wells are tested to ensure casing integrity before hy-frac is done. That’s why there is hardly ever a problem with fracking new wells.
    If old wells with deteriorated casing are fracked then other zones can be contaminated. Nearly all of the documented fracking ‘horror stories’ have been caused by fracking old wells without first testing the casing.

  47. America has been switching from dirty coal to clean natural gas. Toxic pollution is significantly reduced and green-house-gasses are reduced. The technology that made that transition possible was hydraulic fracturing.
    Last month – April 14, to be precise – the EPA published a massive, 529-page report called “Inventory of US Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks: 1990-2012.” In plain English, it was a report on greenhouse gases each year, for more than 20 years.
    And the results couldn’t be clearer. In 2012 – the most recent year data is available – US emissions were 6,526 megatons. That’s down 800 megatons since 2007 alone. It’s so low, the last time the US had such modest emissions was more than 20 years ago.
    Think about that: the US population has never been higher; its economy has never been bigger. Yet it is emitting less greenhouse gases now than it did a generation ago!

    CO2 emissions in countries like China and India are skyrocketing. CO2 emissions in America are plummeting. But you wouldn’t know it by watching where environmental groups focus their hatred. And the fact that credit goes to natural gas fracking? Why, that’s just too much for eco-activists to bear, or their friends in the liberal media to report.
    They literally hate fracking more than they love the environment. Too bad. Because fracking is what’s reducing the emissions – not their anti-American tub-thumping.
