And Glenn Beck is the crazy one.
In a press release entitled “FACT SHEET: Climate Action Plan – Strategy to Cut Methane Emissions,” the White House laid out its “all-of-the-above approach to develop homegrown energy and steady, responsible steps to cut carbon pollution” as to ensure “a cleaner, more stable environment for future generations.”
One of the “key steps” formulated by the Obama Administration involves working in partnership with the dairy industry, the USDA, EPA and DOE to release a “Biogas Roadmap” outlining “voluntary strategies to accelerate adoption of methane digesters and other cost-effective technologies to reduce U.S. dairy sector greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent by 2020.”
Related: In this case, E&E Legal was looking for records regarding the EPA’s veto of an already-granted permit to a coal mine in Logan County, W.V. The EPA vetoed the permit to save the mayfly, an insect that the agency says is harmed by surface mining.

For proper context, you need to understand that for a Liberal elite, a “methane digester” is an envirogreen code word for a 5 star surf and turf restaurant.
Oh to be one of the democrate connected ‘tech’ firms to reap the spoils of this new subsidy enriching plan at the expense of stupid middle class taxpayers.
Reminds me of the TV ads bragging how Alberta has given 2 billion dollars to a few companies to bury co2 underground.
April Fools right? Right? Don’t tell me I peed my pants laughing at someone who was serious. They are serious …. OK then maybe it was worth the incontinence laughing that hard.
Laughable. CO2 is measured in parts per million; methane is measured in parts per billion!
Hey aren t these evil methane digesters what we call cows, are we now supposed to make these “methane digesters” public enemies? Or are these leftie lunatics targeting us consumers of beef and other related products like milk?
Make dairy and beef products very expensive by adding environmental taxes ( then pork, etc.), forcing people to go vegan. Put producers in so much red tape they quit. Less beef to go around. This would make lefty enviros’ dreams come true. Along with everyone freezing in the dark.
“Make prices necessarily skyrocket”. Oil, coal, meat.
No wonder Putin laughs at the West.
They should start by installing some industrial strength “methane digesters” in Washington, DC … and a portable one that followers Obama around on all his golf rounds and vacation trips.
Methane digester??? Good god, my fart catcher will make me millions!!!!!
“The Master: Who run Bartertown? Who… run… Bartertown?
Auntie Entity: …You know who.
The Master: Say.
Auntie Entity: Master Blaster.
The Master: Say loud!
Auntie Entity: Master Blaster.
The Master: Master Blaster… what?
Auntie Entity: Master Blaster runs Bartertown!”
Life imitates fart.
DEPENDS FOR FARM ANIMALS !!!
Government Subsidy,
and I can buy my own island…
Do the regs cover Moochelle too?
beyond ludicrous
“Biogas Roadmap”
Democrat speaks for: “Throw this
Shitcrap on the wall and hope it sticks.”

Beware the Voter Ides of November..
They could cut methane if they put filters on the all cattle and Al Gore’s mouth and arse, it would be a good start.
I would add at this time that a “methane digester” is a system for -making- methane, not for capturing it from cows and disposing of it.
It seems to me that the DemocRat Party is very determined to punish groups that didn’t vote for them. Doesn’t bode well for the future.
We can laugh, but they are very serious. Just as the greens claimed that the climate was changing because of humanity’s wanton ways and now we have all the trouble associated with wind and solar and continued squeezing on auto manufacturers about pollution regs and CAFE fuel consumption, they want to literally regulate us into a meatless world with UN regulations and treaties.
This makes perfect sense.
The Obama White House are the world’s experts in bullshit.
Looks like Obama and gang are about to start taxing farts.
A grain supplemented diet produces much less methane than a 100% forage diet.
Instead of making ethanol, send corn to feed African cows. Fixes a lot of problems and reduces methane production.
“Crazy” is often used as a term to describe some degree of silliness. To suggest ideas like this is a form of true insanity that should have those suggesting it put away, for a long time, in an asylum. When will peole with even some degree of common sense take back the levers of power in the west?
“”Biogas Roadmap”
Democrat speaks for: “Throw this Shit
crap on the wall and hope it sticks.”
Agree perfectly. As to “Beware the Voter Ides of November..” Bwahahahahahaha…another great morning laugh. Thieving, stealing, psychotic,Western hating power-junkies worried about LIVs,LIPs, and leeches? Remember, over half the LIVs in the USSofA depend on gubermint for their I-phones,dope,smokes,food,etc. Vote that out?
Really! How am I supposed to believe an April 1 article. Another thing the EPA should investigate are vegetarian farts. The Mayfly thing can’t be real. On the right summer day at any lake are billions of Mayflies. Mind you the EPA????
Why not they are already taxing exhaled air!
Phantom nails it.
If I may suggest that the methane digesters be moved to Washington, Ottawa, Toronto, etc.
This makes perfect sense.
The Obama White House are the world’s experts in bullshit.

Hilarious………….. But true.
Buy stock in GasX.
“steady, responsible steps to cut carbon pollution”
CO2 is not a pollutant, therefore the steps to ‘cut it’ cannot be termed ‘responsible’.
The IPCC member who withdrew because the panel is too fanatic.
Richard Tol @RichardTol Apr 1
Frame climate change as a food issue, experts say http://feedly.com/e/sqqwQAOa that’ll do it for bioenergy

Along the same thinking as Brenda, I find it bizarre that the environmentalists are trumpeting the IPCC’s finding that CO2 gases might cause food shortages/high prices while also supporting the EPA’s agenda. You know what else causes high prices? Expensive, unnecessary regulations and all forms of carbon dioxide pricing. Follow-up question: which of the scenarios are guaranteed to raise prices, actual CO2 pricing laws or speculative effects of CO2 emissions somewhere in the next decades or century, maybe?
Personally, I think that the US states that have the most to lose from the EPA’s War on CAGW are going to have to band together and battle the federal government. There’s a lot of political and economic clout among the fossil fuel and agricultural states. They need to start using that power. Heck, Sask farmers a few years back made enough of a stink about unfair property taxes by starting a tax strike that the government reformed property tax calculations. Surely the political class in the most affected US states can manage to take some type of action. If not, then those politicians and their voters are also to blame.
Sort of on topic- climate poll going horribly wrong:

From WUWT
One more chapter from the UN’s Agenda21.
Another cynical tax gouge at the dairy industry/consumer wrapped in save-the-earth theater
i have to admire the CAGW clowns, what a way for all the eco-nasties and gullible loons to self-indentify.
You can be sure membership lists are big selling items, where else can you find so many suckers?
Support WWF or Greenpiss and you go straight onto the “Will buy anything” list.
Methane digesters? Methane can generate energy while producing
harmless CO2 gas as a byproduct!
