The Mosque angle was played heavily on CBC News channel during the game. I was flipping back and forth during breaks in the action. Lots of smiling faces, all boys mind you and one fellow even commented on the lack of fighting…made me feel all warm and fuzzy…*snort*

She noticed that the women were doing all the serving and asked one of the gladhanders if that was normal.
He told her that they take turns and that day just happened to be the day that the women were doing the work.

When I want commentary on hockey, I want it from a guy who tells the CBC that Islam is an open and fair religion and then tells his followers to kill the infidel. These guys really know the game.

Chill out about seeing a mosque. That one is an Ahmadi mosque. They are some of the sane Muslims. Their subdivision at 400 and Teston is a peaceful refuge from the hatred they are fleeing in Pakistan. I’ve been up there many times in the course of work, and they really are lovely people and an asset to Canada.
Muslim immigration is a fact of life now, and not every Muslim is a Sunni, Shiite or Wahabbi whackjob.

The National Olympic Pride that the taxpayer funded CBC touts is overtly disingenuous when they include an overtly non secular foreign based political ideology as keeping company with “Canada’s” cultural values.
There were no Muslims representing Canada in the winter Olympics or we would have heard about it in ridiculous patronizing drool night after night.
