  11. Actually, I agree that the Beiber story is more interesting and important than that Davos horse crap that we have all heard before …. but consider this y’all ….. THEY MIGHT DEPORT HIM BACK TO CANADA … THEN HE WILL BE ALL OURS …. Toronto will become a mecca for baggy pants wearing young rapper negroes who seem to just love the Beeb and everything about him …. especially his money and stupidity. Think of what that will do for diversity in Canada.

It’s very impressive how intelligent, and possibly members of a Christian community, are willing to tear down a kid who has became extremely wealthy because of his music talents before he had matured and could handle the wealth, the notoriety, the fawning, screaming devoted public, far away from his mother. She wrote a book recently and he saw how difficult her life had been and how she was a single mother at age 17 deserted by his father, and her journey into drugs and alcohol. By the time her son began to dream of a career in music, she was a Christian and no longer using drugs, and she had taught him the Christian principles she had learned and he was a good boy and loved the Lord long before he signed his first professional contract. Where does the mother go when the son signs a contract that means he will travel around the world with strangers. These strangers are part of the music industry and he pays their salaries. What is their lifestyle? Do they do drugs? Then into this mess comes his father, who was never around until this point of his son’s life. Things have not been going well, but is he going to help? He did close off a street so his son could drag race. The star doesn’t know what is going on because he’s not paying any attention. Now he has a father he never had, the people on the payroll, and he has a houseful of taggers-on. The police who went to the home to arrest him described it as a frat house – a typical frat house that you’d find on campus, only this one is a multi-million dollar frat house within an adult community. They don’t like strangers trespassing on their property, they see nothing amusing about throwing eggs at their house. There seems to be one and only one person who is concerned, and that is his mother. She sees what is happening and can do nothing. How can she help him as it’s out of her hands now? She went through the drug and alcohol scene in her teens, and she doesn’t want that for her son. She does what she can do which is to ask Christians to pray for her son. Are there people contacting her and saying, we are praying for your son? Or does she only read that her son is a spoiled brat who needs to be hit across the side of the head with a 2 x 4? Will Justin kick his Dad out? Doubt it. Will he mature in a couple of years? Doubt it. I expect all the media will be using his problems to make headlines for another 5 years, unless something more pressing comes on the world scene like a true calamity.

    It is truly amazing how far you went to miss the point of this post. 19 year old singer arrested for drag racing vs. Congresswoman talking about the NSA, Gellen. That’s what the post is about.
    MSNBC went for the 19 year old. So did you. Consider the company you keep, eh?

  21. As I so often am, I’m torn about this. On the one hand, I’m all in favor of giving as little air time as possible to congresscritters from California; on the other, I’m also in favor of giving as little air time as possible to Justin Bieber.
