3. The Lloyds of London report is still full of crap on climate change. We find this:
   “According to the World Meteorological Organisation’s (WMO) Statement on the Status of the Global Climate,18 2012 was the ninth warmest year since records began in 1850, continuing the warming trend begun in 2001.”
   There’s been no warming for the past 17 years. The WMO statement has been roundly denounced everywhere and contradicted by the cathedral of the global warmers, the UK MET office. Even at 32nd, it’s far too highly ranked given some of the things which are found further down the list.

8. Yeah well, I lack any academic letters on my handle, but I can shoot down Hansen’s doom scenario in one sentence.
   Temperatures of the early Holocene, melted the Laurentian Ice Sheet, and vastly exceeded the 1.5C, Hansen claims to be his “tipping point” but nothing happened…and 12000 years later the Polar Bears are still here.
   I can’t play bagpipes either but I am an astute judge of piping.
