A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton, according to newly released documents.
The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Limbaugh was on about this an hour ago. We’ve been calling the Zimmerman affair a show trial for a while now, organized solely for the purpose of placating the radical race hucksters. Now it turns out the DOJ arranged the whole thing?
Ordering all those armored cars and ammo for the DHS sure taking on a much darker aspect, if you’ll pardon the allusion. I guess we just found out why the Dept. of Agriculture and the Dept. of Education both needed to have SWAT teams too.
The cops in the jurisdiction where Zimmerman shot Martin originally did not want to press charges because of the serious ambiguities in this case. As the trial unfolds, we see why.
This is a show trial because Martin was black (and is the son Obama never had), Zimmerman is Hispanic, and Al Sharpton and other usual suspects rolled into town to stir up trouble. To quell tensions, and under pressure from the Bam-bam administration, the D.A.’s office pressed charges despite flimsy and contradictory evidence.
If this jury is properly instructed, they will acquit Zimmerman on the grounds of reasonable doubt due to insufficient evidence. And another meddlesome interference in law enforcement by Bam-bam (remember the Mass. cop incident?) will have blown up in Mr. President’s face.
Will the local police chief, who was fired as part of the on-going controversy, sue to get his job back?

Professional journalists, the very ones providing cover for this historically destructive administration, must be assuming that they will be just fine when all hell breaks loose. All hell is certainly going to break loose down south, as the public increasingly becomes aware of the degree of stench downwind of the scum that has usurped their government. Yes, those very same journalists who opine from their ever marginalized ivory pulpits that “Guns are bad”. Let me fix that editorial for ya: “… unless they are in the hands of the DHS goons tasked with protecting one’s sorry ass when it all goes sideways”. Which assumes that they are high enough up the priority list to be so protected. Maybe not. After all, who will have further need of their services?
Yet another way Canada and USA differ: train wrecks. The USA version is a slow, self-inflicted and drawn out process that takes decades to unfold.

the entire Obama administration has been doing things that are illegal with the consent of the unelected supreme court. every unconstitutional act is illegal but very few seem to be bright enough to call them on it and take the necessary action. discussing things on blogs cannot be considered action.

The judge in this case was quite the bag. She allowed any and all prejudicial evidence evidence against Zimmerman but would not allow basic evidence concerning Martins propensity for violence. There has to be one hell of a case of malicious prosecution coming. Plus Zimmerman should make a human rights case concerning mistreatment because of his Hispanic ancestry. Plus Zimmerman should sue the asses off the networks that faked evidence to encourage him being charged.
I hope the Hispanic gets off!

In a more civilized time something like this would bring down the government and send people to jail. How do you fight this without taking up arms? The grievances that lead to the revolution were way less egregious than what Americans put up with now.

also, the Bi-assed judge allowed the prosecution to bring negative character aspects (or an attempt to) about Zimmerman, but didn’t allow the phone msgs on Martins phone to be used to establish his “character”, which include several references to fight moves as Zimmerman claim to have been used on him. And that children is fodder for a miss trial, and if not that then for an appeal. Yup, judge is being “told” what to do!!

Now the prosecution is admitting Travon Martin was on top of George Zimmerman,
but was trying to stop the fight and backing away when he saw the gun and Zimmerman fired the fatal shot.
Now they don’t want 2nd degree Murder but wants the judge to allow another charge against Zimmerman,
Manslaughter and or aggravated assault- because he fired his gun into a defenseless teen,
Manslaughter is punishable by serving life or 20 years in prison,
aggravated assault can get you 10-20 years.
This trial has turned into a frucking Eric Holder dog and pony circus joke.

Nelson told Zimmerman that he had the “absolute right to remain silent” and then asked him whether he wanted to testify. Don West, Zimmerman’s attorney, objected; Nelson overruled him and said, “The court is entitled to inquire if Mr. Zimmerman’s determination as to whether or not he wants to testify.”
She asked Zimmerman how much time he wanted to figure out if he wanted to testify, to which West objected. Nelson then said, irritated, “Your objection is overruled!” Mark O’Mara, another of the defense attorneys whispered, “What is going on?”
Such exchanges are very unusual in criminal trials. Judges rarely confront possible witnesses or defendants on whether they will testify over the objections of attorneys.
A few minutes later, Judge Nelson continued to ask Zimmerman about whether he would testify. She gave him a few minutes to consider. Then she returned to Zimmerman and asked him whether he would testify; he said he would not. She then repeatedly asked whether it was his decision not to testify in the case, rather than the decision of his attorneys.

Not quite true. Judges ask defendants if they want to testify so they can establish that the defendant understands it’s their right to do so. The problem here was it was done before the defense’s case was over. He had every right to not answer that question until the defense was done and if she had forced him to answer that would have been instant grounds for appeal.
Now the prosecution is asking for Child Abuse charges because T. Martin was 17.
Maybe the State could charge Zimmerman for parking his vehicle in a Handicap Parking Zone at the clubhouse.
I am sure a video could be found.
