  2. I had no idea men,or women, could be incarcerated for non-payment of child support or alimony. Is this an American thing,or is it the same situation in Canada?
    According to that video, men should stay single.

  8. I’m lucky. I have a good wife who has a career and shares in all the responsibilities. We have more sex than all of our married friends and we also still laugh and have fun together. In contrast, the vast majority of our married friends are not having as good a time. Mostly it is because their marriages have become power struggles and the guys are being punished for not submitting to the wills of their insane wives. And our other friend is having a hard time with her husband because he won’t take up the slack at home. He expects her to cook and clean despite having a 90 minute commute to work both ways. He is a staunch liberal and feels that housework is beneath him since he has a huge sense of entitlement. Oh well, I told her before she married him that he was a d-bag. Oh, did I mention that he is a teacher and is currently off for the summer? Lazy!

  9. In this society, for a man to be married, is a losing proposition.
    So too with education, if your White & male.
    If we had traditional marriage it would be okay. Now we just have the Feminist Ghost of one. Where the man is just a sperm donor & Wallet, with future security if she finds a better (Rich) guy.
    I do know of several guys who are happy. The thing is though. Their wives are basically their best friends. Are not feminists. Are traditional Women who don’t regulate the guy to the basement.
    Men & Women are equally selfish. Its only that our culture favours Women in legal terms. That cause this disjointed happen-stance. Its getting worse by the year to.

  10. We are approaching fifty years of marriage and are happy about it. Some days I feel my seventy years, some days over that, some days under that, and truth be known some days my wife thinks that maturity wise I am sixteen. Eh what?
    Our three daughters and one son all have traditional marriages and all have children.
    But, I have to agree with the good doctor when I observe many of the next two younger generations of males that I have some acquaintance with, and the number one issue seems to be that everything is stacked against them.
    Then again, the destruction of the family has been a priority of the Marxist ideology, and we are seeing the fallout. There is a reason why many Russian males are drunks, as that society has not recovered from the seventy years of communist rule over every aspect of family life.

    There are many factors involved. Unfortunately, parents may battle for custody just to spite one another and be on the receiving end of spousal and/or child support. When families had more children, men often did not want full custody of 4 or more little ones.
    – It’s still more socially acceptable for a man to marry or cohabitate with a younger women than it is for a women to do the same.
    – Men over 40 stand a much better chance than women over 40 of finding a new partner-there are many more single women over forty than there are males over 40. Women only have a short window for reproduction-men don’t have these limits.
    On a related note, it was once thought borderline personality disorder affected mostly women, it’s only now being realized that this disorder, with slighty different manifestations, affects men equally.

  16. I work as a handi man and most of my clients are women, so, I think the good Doctor missed the most important reason of all. In todays complex world “LOGIC” rules supreme, and wimin are emotionalists, so men are getting tired of cleaning up the messes wimin generate all around themselves, I know because I get PAID to clean up those messes:-))))

    When it comes to separation and divorce in Ontario, a man has about the same legal status as a 1902 black Alabama share-cropper. That’s from first-hand experience. The deck isn’t just stacked against the man; the man doesn’t even get cards.
    That said, my present marriage is a gem, like my present wife. Never happier.

  19. Marriage is tying your future to a person who can and will take everything you have now and in the future. Spending your life married to a person who is 100% against anything you are for and 100% for what you are against, someone who considers their money as well as yours their money. Having a spouse who sabotages every effort or plan you make to succeed in what ever you do to the point of actively working against you to implement their version of the plan.
    A spouse whose family have more rights and respect as well as time spent with them instead of you.
    Marriage is for idiots these days.

  20. All i can say is that i am married i have way more sex than i ever have. I i also have alot of fun with my wife , we laugh and we do things together, she makes way more than i ever will , she is and was finacially secure before we ever met (witch i never knew about until we got married and jointed our account) she was raised in estevan and has you know one of them old fashioned moms who taught her to respect her husband and to trust him ,so she is a stuanch beleiver in traditional roles in marrige and wants to be a stay at home mom as much as she can with out sacrificing her career completley , and i fuly support what ever she decides if she wants to quit and never work again once we have kids that is fine by me.
    Oh yeah one more thing …..she is a conservative christian woman who is deeply in love with christ!!
    stay away form liberal men and women stay away from them! because you will regret every moment of it!

  24. Marriage is truly for the crazy. Why would a man indenture himself to the whims of a woman who has been raised to believe that only her views are valid? And it gets tiring fighting the emotional crazy that overtakes a woman as she nears the age of forty. I remember one particular argument with my ex–I said to her “I’m nothing more than an extra income and a pair of hands to do the heavy lifting around here to you aren’t I?”…although she didn’t answer I could see in her face I had scored a point on the Truth.

    As someone else noted, this statement flies in the face of all the evidence I’ve seen. And my new girlfriend is a family law lawyer, who is constantly involved in custody cases; when I asked her about this, she laughed her head off.
    But, she is my new girl friend, after my marriage of 24 years dissolved last fall. What I’ve discovered our relationship is working because we agree that we are both equal. She does not suscribe to the Feminazi cant that ‘women are better than men’; she realizes, as I do, that we each have our own strengths and weaknesses, most of which are based on temperment rather than gender. For example, I’m a better cook, while on bikes, she could ride me into the dirt. She’s happy to be a woman, I’m happy to be a man, and we’re happy to be together. Since we’re both in our 50’s, children are out of the question, so we’ve decided not to get married, although I suspect she’d be thrilled if I asked her.
    And, while we eschew traditional roles, a few weeks back, we were at a very crowded street party in downtown Toronto. When we decided to leave, moving through the crowd was difficult, so I took her hand, and led her behind me as I moved through the crowd. (My attitude in such situations is “If I know where I’m going, and you’re not sure, I have the right of way”) We moved pretty quickly, and when I glanced back for a moment, she had a goofy grin on her face. I suspect even the strongest of women like it when their man takes charge, and acts like, for lack of a better word, ‘a man’.
