  1. Charging a charity to speak , that has to be akin to stealing pencils from a blind beggar = pretty low.

  2. Turdo la Doo is too shallow and self-obsessed of course to see anything “wrong” with absenting himself from Parliament so that he can grab more cash by speaking at schools, colleges and charity venue.
    And as for the charity dickhead who decided to bring in Turdo la Doo, his donors and directors can either fire him or tolerate him. But the ones who should be lined against the wall and ventilated are the turds in the High Schools and Colleges who authorized the cheques from public funds.

  5. If he TRULY wanted to help that charity, he should have just offered to speak for free, not demand money from them when they are trying to raise it.

  13. Looks like the people organizing the event made their decision of guest speaker based on the MSM’s assurances and their push polls of the past year that le petit M. Trudeau is wildly loved and sure to be the next PM of Canada.
    Looks also that the people of Port City N.B. may not be so easily taken in.

    Much as I hate seeing Young Master Turdo being paid to bloviate…the way I figure it, if you are dumb enough to give that idiot money, you kinda deserve what you get!
    The question is which fool should be separated from his money…?

  15. Trudeau doesn’t owe the dummies who run that charity one cent.
    They contracted with him,he showed up,it’s not his fault it didn’t work out. They knew his fee before he was contracted,and were glad to pay it,now they have no right to bitch.
    I can think of a lot of people I’d hire to speak at an event before approaching Trudeau.I’d list them but it would be selfish to use up that amount of Kate’s bandwidth.

  16. What would an empty headed failure like Justine have to talk about that is worth a fee? If you want him to make you money for appearing at your event make sure it will actually draw people in. Like having his head forcibly shaved, stripped naked, and then tarred and feathered before running him out of town. Now that might have people paying to see him.

A couple of silly questions: Was it members of the wet panty brigade that thought it was a good idea to bring in a ‘big name’ speaker AKA Trudeau (orgasm at the name) or was it the ‘you have to spend money to make money’ loons who thought that paying a ‘never was with a fancy name’ an exorbitant fee was a way to raise money? Not that it makes any difference to the outcome. From this little exercise in futility it is clear that if Trudeau were a cow-patty he couldn’t attract flies.
    What I find really hilarious though is the fact that the cow-patty in question didn’t (doesn’t) have the political acumen to quietly refund the money long before this all became public. Now not only has he made a joke of himself by not attracting what should be his native audience (Maritime seniors with fond memories of PET) he now looks like someone who steals the blankets off Grannies bed. Not good optics at all. Well maybe I should say not good optics for the LPC but for his enemies he has hit one out of the ball park.

  23. Don is right. One of the scandals in the charity business is how many of them swallow up donations in administration and not in actual donations to the cause they support. Heart and Stroke is one of the worst, and it looks like this one might be as well.
    Some of you need to grow up. They bought Shiny Pony out of a speakers list. Joe is right; the wet panty brigade presumably thought he’d be a big draw.
    Guess not.

  24. Well, well, well. ‘Turns out the charity involved two Anglican churches in Fredericton. What dummies for asking Trudeau to be their speaker, thinking his numb-nuts platitudes about our “roles and responsibilities as Canadians in the global community” would pack the house. Asking him to be their speaker, expecting him to bring in a whole lot of moolah, and then paying him $20,000, is like building the foundation of your house on toothpicks.
    This charity almost deserves to be out $20,000. Dumb, dumb move on their part.

  25. The worst part , is that most money payed by schools, unions are tax payer dollars. SO he is double dipping.
    As much as I support the CPC, I think the east will elect this remorseless liberal. The stupidity of the voters will be evident.
    Of course I’ve been wrong before.

  26. TWO Anglican churches casting somebodies bread upon the waters?
    Seems odd to be asking for money back now. Presumably those who
    instigated the soiree were to be “richly remembered” in the future
    when Shiny Pony takes his turn at commanding the Liberal maritime
    patronage taps to the general benefit of his followers.
    Perhaps if they put teams together and drove up to trendy Toronto every
    weekend this summer and sold “Famous Liberal Brand Shiny Pony”
    chocolate bars on street corners they would instantly KO their debt.

    Justin Trudeau says he’ll compensate any charitable group that paid him a hefty speaking fee to participate in fundraising events.
    The Liberal leader says he’ll either give back the fees or find some other way to “make it right.”
    He could, for instance, agree to speak again at fundraisers for the groups — for free this time.
    Trudeau told CTV’s Question Period he’ll sit down with each of the groups to see what suits them best.
    My comment: Since he “earned” 1.3 million in speaking fees after becoming a Member of Parliament (with salary and perks), he can at least pay back the charities stupid enough to hire him.
    He will never be able to redeem himself, but the voters will still vote for their beloved Shiny Pony.
