I think most “views” here are that if anyone is rioting, throwing rocks at police, fire and ambulance responders, setting cars afire, looting then the police should be using equal or greater force to put an end to it. I could care less who is doing it, but in this case it is immigrants (likely mostly Muslim) who started this and the usual marxists, anarchists and communists have jumped on board.
I saw a few well placed real bullets will put an end to this real quick. Then they can check all of their cameras and start deporting anyone involved in the above noted illegal activities. Any natural born citizens also involved can spend the next 20 years in prison.

FYI, there are plenty of LEGAL firearms in private hands(= hunting rifles) in Sweden, but they’re mostly in the north and in rural areas, NOT in Stockholm. This is one of the times I’m going to have to agree with Karl Marx about the social evils of the division of labor. There was a simpler time when, if such a situation were to occur in a city, the police would immediately deputize any citizens who volunteered to end the rioting and then go in and smash heads until the rioters ceased their activities or were all arrested or comatose.
This was when police forces were very small but readily expandable to meet situations such as riots by “youths”. Now we have a bloated police bureaucracy who likely see riots of the type that are going on in Sweden as a means of extorting even more money from the government to have a far larger force of overpaid policemen around the next time to do nothing and stop anyone who dares interfere in their highly specialized area of work.
As a strong adherent of self-organizing systems, I’m much more in favor of the reactions of local people in defending their neighborhood such as occurred by Korean shopkeepers in the LA riots after the Rodney King trial and in Stockholm. The effect of a few hundred determined and organized citizens not afraid to bust some heads generally has rioting “youths” terrified as these guys haven’t checked their balls for safekeeping like “enlightened” police do for the time they’re on the police force.
As a fan of RAC music, I’ve found Sweden to have a surprising number of RAC bands (all of which are labeled as neo-Nazi by the ignorant). Saga is a Swedish singer who has written a number of songs dealing with the invasion of unwanted immigrants into Sweden. Likely the existence of such regressive elements of the Swedish population is viewed as an aberration by the enlightened socialists who make up the government but I expect the number of Swedes questioning the suicidal policies of their government to grow rapidly given the recent actions of disgruntled “youths”.
Right now the politicization of the police in Canada has reached such a level that I simply have no dealings with them whatever. They are definitely not on the side of the people and are lackeys of the reigning kleptocracy which considers it reasonable to kill someone for not wearing a seatbelt (read The Ballad of Carl Drega for a full explanation of how this works). The only difference between Canada and Sweden is that if something like this happened in a small city the people who came out to stop it would be all armed.
This is how government breaks down, always. The first rule of government, the one task it must succeed at before all others, is protection of persons and property, particularly persons. This was the very origin of government thousands of years ago. It’s why we tolerate its limits on us in the first place.
What Sweden is demonstrating, what Caledonia demonstrated before it, is the failure of government to protect its citizens. To bear arms on their behalf so that they don’t have to. When government fails to protect its citizens, particularly en masse in the case of street riots or insurrection, there are only two possible outcomes if government does not restore law and order.
1. The disintegration of government as citizens withdraw their allegiance and provide it to another organization which will; or
2. Bonapartism. A strong man takes over to enforce public discipline because the democratic institutions have utterly failed.
These two are the only end results if the existing governing institutions are unable to return to their one absolutely mandatory obligation. When government refuses to protect its citizens either from itself or from lawlessnes, a state of tyranny or anarchy, respectively, has been achieved. And both of these conditions are intolerable.
