  1. I got the page via a back door and it says “Embargoed until September 24, 10:00 pm EST”. Wait three hours.

  2. ‘Route 66’ goes both ways.
I got the page even though it says that it’s embargoed, it’s interesting and sad.

  3. Give us your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses, yearning to breath free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest tost to Texas,
We lift our lamp beside the Visitors Center on IH 10 a few miles north of El Paso.

  4. Later Dude or the Grapes of Wrath II
The Grapes Of Wrath are fleeing the grape press of socialism as Steinbeck’s fled dust bowl oppression.

  5. No new info here, just a nice confirmation of what we already knew.
The problem with this exodus of Californians is the sonsabitches all move to Arizona and start voting DemocRat. Tucson has turned into one big “artist” commune, the parts that aren’t run by the MExican mob anyway.
Stupid bastiges soiled their own nest, now they’re soiling other people’s.

  6. It is really too bad, because the climate is fantastic. I lived in Santa Monica for a couple of years, wonderful, with the exception of the lefties and wingnuts that seemed determined to ruin the place.
    Then I left. Heh.

  7. The climate is fantastic in Haiti too! And Cuba. And Africa. And the Med.Hummmmm.Maybe it’s true what they say, that only mad dogs and Englishmen like their brains fried by heat. But then I guess you can’t be a rabid leftard in the cold.Bring on the ice age.

This, of course, simply repeats the process that has afflicted New Hampshire. Many liberals fled the high taxes of Massachusetts to settle in low-tax New Hampshire; unfortunately, they brought their elitist, nanny-state expectations with them.
