  1. The Luddites are heckling each other. That’s a problem? You would figure they could agree how to destroy the economy. I hope they do enough gerrymandering to get rid of Lizzy May. Split the tree-huggers into downtown Vancouver ridings.

  2. I may be wrong, but whyTF was she even yipping? Don’t you have to be an official party, with a certain number of elected members?
BM….you bring the coals and lighter fluid,I’ll spring for the dip, popcorn, and beer.

  3. Heh.
“…was she even yipping? Don’t you have to be an official party, with a certain number of elected members?” – Gawd, I dunno. I think random meth addicts could wander in off the street and pose much better questions. They’d be prettier, too.

  4. I reject the necessity of having a Green party.
Environment is very very important but you don’t
need to have a party based solely on that.
Imagine a Education party who only care about education issues. We don’t need that.
Green party people should join the NDP.
    They are welcome.

  5. As much as I detest Elizabeth May and her own shrill and demented approach to issues, I support her in her call for civil discourse. You either support a principle or you don’t. You cannot pick and choose your virtues or principles. It does you no good to say I did not support that principle at that time because it was not convienient to do so or it disadvantaged my enemy… You are either principled or you are not.

  6. After her performance at the 2006 leaders debate, she can’t complain about uncivil and being talked over.

  7. Green party people should join the NDP.
    They are welcome.

I agree. Just like the separatists, they are all the same bunch of sheep, pretending that they would like a truly socialist state.

  8. Elizabeth May’s just finding out now that the NDP are uncivilized, leering, baboons? ‘Always knew she was behind the 8-ball.
As Joseph points out, after her disgraceful behaviour in the leaders’ debate a few years ago, she’s a fine one to talk — or call for civility.
    Pot. Kettle. Black.

  9. “Teeth” had to sit down , cause that lunch-hour doobie made her lose her train of thought.

  10. Regarding the remark about her being on the next leaders debate?
I really how Harper insists this time that he is only required to debate one opposition leader at a time, just making three stipulation would make her head explode.

  11. Meh.
    Green party = Red party
NDP = Down the slippery slope of commie land(just not hardcore enough)
That’s why the green party exists. The more the left is fractured the better it is as a whole for the rest of Canada. Though the collapse of the centre-left is more troubling.

  12. Eli@1:18 PM makes a very good point. Much as we all detested the Liberals, they were centre-left, and sooner or later the Conservatives are going to lose the support of the electorate.
That is not likely so long as PMSH is alive and well, but one infarction and the Conservatives would be thrown into the hands of less competent people,
possibly for instance more tolerant of corruption than Mr. Harper is. And who knows what Toronto will do in the next General Election?

  13. Crazy Lizzie May can dish it out but she cries foul when it comes the other way.She is now and will always be on the fringes of Canadian Politics. She can convince a few enviro-whackos from BC to elect her but she and her opinions do not fly any where else.Even the idiots from the NDP won t have anything to do with her.
