Look like the most unqualified and unamerican president in US history will have a full 8 years to do his damage. It’s the Supreme Court, I believe, where his legacy will be the most harmful.

Last time around, critics of Rev. Right were given the racist badge and it most definitely had its intended impact, especially when the MSM yelled it from the rooftops. This time around, however, Obama’s blind faith magic is not the default for those whose mental capacity is at minimum, “awake” and I doubt being called “anti-communist” will have any fear value whatsoever. Of course, the concern is that indeed, 50% of Americans are either Communist or Marxist.
I wonder if anyone has video of that Q&A after the play? 🙂
Old Lori, I disagree, I think that as long as the Republicans can keep on message, they’ll win. POTUS isn’t as important as retaining the majority in HoR and majority in the Senate.
Also, the state races are shifting decidedly Republican according to the polls. Heck, WA state has the R’s with a big lead. WA hasn’t been R since 81-85.
It’s 2010 all over again, at this point.

I agree with everything that Lori said but I think it’s actually worse. Let’s face it folks, if someone produced HD Video showing yesterday’s newspaper and Barack Obama wearing a Nazi SS uniform and having sex with an underage girl … even that likely wouldn’t budge the vast majority of his supporters away from him one bit. He could send the U.S. Military into Alberta tomorrow to capture the Oil Sands and that wouldn’t sway his supporters one iota.
A massive, hypnotic cult-like mentality has swept over a wide swath of Americans and they’re not going to be budged from their belief system. I truly wish this weren’t true but I seriously suspect it is.
I really have to say that I don’t think that the vast majority of Americans have any idea of who they voted for. The MSM DID NOT VET OBAMA. Now until the election is the time to do that very thing. My fears are that there will not be another election, on some pretext or other. This guy is very bad news for those that value freedom!!
Of course you’re right that Obama’s supporters care absolutely nothing about this stuff. But yuo’re overlooking the fact that if only Obama’s supporters vote for him, he loses big. He won last time because not just his supporters, but a large number of uncommitted voters were led to believe that he was a legitimate mainstream politician, not appreciably worse than McCain, and black into the bargain. Given two unremarkable candidates, one of whose election would make history, they went for history.
It’s ging to be quite different this time. The history’s been made, and the great mass of uncommited voters have to decide whether this guy is really the one they want in power for four more years. Every fact that can be brought to light that can influence that decision – and especially facts that should have disclosed the first time round – will have an effect.
It’s foolish to believe that Obama has it in the bag and the Republican effort is doomed. He certainly can be beaten. The question is whether the Republicans will do it, not whether they can.

Yes, there is the Oprah effect but there is also the Kate High Voltage Effect too, and it’s gaining ground by the second.
I have to grant a lot of merit to Abe’s, Robert’s, ebt’s, and Pat’s comments.
The one thing that is overlooked that the DEMONcRATs have not overlooked to the point of obsession….is that a CRITICAL mass of the american electorate has de-facto already voted….by purchasing arms and ammo above all historic levels.
The US has become extremely polarized but not on difinitive geographical boundaries such as the Mason-Dixon Line. The lines that appear to be forming are at the city limits.
Maobama’s proposed “civilian defence force” is already in place….the now thoroughly militarized police forces. Napolitano’s report designating returning servicemen as a security threat indicates both an agenda and an insecurity.
Well ya know if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck and it walks like a duck. It probably is a mild mannered centrist from Chicago.

SNL did a skit recently illustrating EXACTLY this idea. They threw out a host of disturbing scenarios of “what if Obama did….” to two ‘celebrity’ guests.
In every case, the fake ‘celebrities’ would squirm uncomfortably and then still declare their fealty.
I’m just afraid that when the “warm and fuzzy” meets the “high voltage”, the sparks will be very very nasty. Seiu is “organizing” their riot squads as we speak and the confrontations will be truly ugly. The revolution could very well be this summer. They no longer have any fear of consequences to their violence, witness the Vancouver riots and the “occupy” loonies. The police stand around and watch while Rome burns.
