  1. The sooner that Sun TV is up and runing the better, I just watchded CTV formulate liberal campaign policy and attack ads while commenting on the defeat of the evil and corrupt Harper Government. I cannot see watching Craig Oliver for the next 36 days, not only because he reminds me of a turkey two days before thanksgivings day.

    The image stuck in my head is one of those Gary Larson ‘Far Side’ cartoons of that turkey vulture sitting high on a tree branch, waiting for some roadkill.

  4. The difference I generally see between conservative rhetoric and Left/Lib rhetoric is conservatives usually do it in self-defence — a “here’s a taste of your own medicine” response. We hold up the mirror to these dolts and lampoon them to show them what they look like.
    But the fact is conservatives were vilified for decades by the Left without fighting back — we simply shrugged it off instead of crying like babies to the State to stifle free speech. However, today we fight back because control of the media by the Left has reached a saturation point — it’s time for other opinions apart from the status quo.
    And the Left continues to up the ante — for example in the last 24 hours I have heard at least three prominent Liberals on radio refer to Harper as “Hitler” and a “dictator”. No conservative is going to complain to a Human Rights commission or suggest that Harper should sue for slander, or go crying to the CJC for political points because the Libs have once again belittled the holocaust. Just not our style.
    But once in a while we do fight back, and if we dare get a bit feisty about it the crybaby Commie Left cries “foul”. They’re the epitome of the schoolyard bully I remember from my youth: the bully would beat up everybody in the playground and call them all “sissies” if they squealed — so most of the time we didn’t squeal. But inevitably the bully would pick on somebody who was tougher who finally beat the crap out of him. And inevitably the bully would squeal — cry to the Principle and cry to mummy and daddy, and the hero who beat the crap out of him would always get suspended.
    The behaviour of bully cowards is as predictable as the law of gravity, and the Canadian Lib/Left is no exception. They always get their asses kicked in a fair fight.

  7. @richfisher – nailed it. This is not about “corruption”, “loss of confidence”, “lack of transparency” – that’s the pot calling the kettle black. This is about the frothing howling disbelieving rage that occurred throughout the Left when he was elected, and their incessant scheming to get rid of him ever since. PERIOD.

    Nope Jess, I doubt if there are any real “racists and haters” here. People are just so fed up with being force-fed political corrections that they are “regurgitating” it to use a politically correct term. In colloquial language, people are sick of having it shoved down their throats and are puking it out all over the ground — you Lefties should have expected that natural cathartic reaction.
    But in reality I doubt that you would find anyone here who is really a racist or a hater. If a minority were being beat up by some thugs in the street I’ll bet the farm that just about anyone here would jump in and risk their own safety to save the man.
    Would Lefties do it? Probably not, unless there’s a government grant to get out of the deal or a way to exploit the violence with the press to further their ideology…

    The left has stepped up its campaign by intimidation. Having a history of it. As of course their comrades the Islamofacists. While the FBI pretends to Play mostly mythical Right White Terrorist Hostage scenarios.
