Best Canadian Blog
2004 - 2007
Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

@Norm – anti-hunting isn’t about the animals. It’s about self-sufficiency. I think that many people who can’t look after themselves often resent those who can.
Dear chuck!
You’ve OFFICIALLY posted the WORST blog-comment ever. Congratulations! do you belong to “Mensa” or something?!! Or are you just the PRESIDENT of the Palin fan-club?!?!?!
“And when I rehtuhned… Mary Jo and the Cahw were gawn.”
I just thought that you conservatives ought to have some idea of what the properly enunciated speech of your eloquent betters sounds like.
So now the left has to pick between PETA and the locovore movement. What to do? What to do. Which side is Sarah on? OK, we will chose the other. No brainer.
chuck
btw, liberal heads did explode yesterday, but not because of SP.
Grey matter debris was everywhere watching MSNBC yesterday. The topic de jour: millionaire billionaire tax breaks.
(Then)-contemporary joke:
Q: Why do the Kennedys say “Africer” and “Canader”?
A: To use up the “r”s left out of “Hahvahd”.

Ric
Safe Hunting Practices: Never shoot an animal on the horizon because you can never be 100% sure of where the bullet will go if you miss,.
jon did you learn that at derange?
@ Robert 11:am The Winchester mod.70( pre WW2 ) was probably the best bolt action rifle ever made! And the later mod.70s ( pre 64 ) are a close second! But the mod.70 really started going downhill after they started being made in Japan! Probably the best all around hunting rifle ever made, was the mod.70 in .30-06 !
We need a gun thread!
It doesn’t mnatter if she’s using a priest on a halibut, or pulling the trigger on a caribou, I always get locked and loaded watching her on TV. Maybe its the cat scratch fever. 😉
I guess Kate was right–PETA is upset at Palin’s hunting trip:

My Winchester M70 is a 7×57 and I prize it like it was solid gold.
I watched this episode with a keen eye and Sarah was pretty cool. The use of varmint rifle is questionable unless they were using reloads with decent bullets. Likely it got bumped after sighting in.
Cariboo meat is real nice.
Oh! The memories.
