Blog Notes

I’m off this morning for Beijing, which is certain to set conspiracy journalists a-twitter about who else may be on the trip, and how it all ties in to the joooos….
In the meanwhile, the guest bloggers have been invited to stop by to keep things going. You can return the favour by popping back to their sites for a visit from time to time.
I’ll be back in a week, God and my Mossad agent willing.

  1. Have a great trip Kate.
Look forward to more pictures if you can.
Bon voyage in Chinese to ‘ya.

  2. Say hi to mo,and be careful of the market food. Helpful hint, the freshest ones are still alive. I wish I was going with you ….or maybe I am. —http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6FP82PHmms

  3. God speed…and bring some of our money back, willya?
Oh….I would travel with the SAS.Less Muzzies following you…:-)

  4. How ever did a hateful capitalist like you ever get a visa? You’re probably going to be searched for subversive material on arrival, like Milton Friedman books.

  5. Enjoy it, it’s a great town but you have to see a certain side of it — I”m sure you already have a booking but I highly recommend the Double Happiness hotel. Not super swank but great, little hotel smack in the middle of a hutong. It was fun just walking out to the main street to start the day. I also recommend the subway, don’t take cabs everywhere – super easy and you won’t forget the experience.

  6. Safe journey, Kate! I look forward to reading your travelogue, posted when you return. Have fun!

  7. Zionists, eh? You’re having an affair with Mark Steyn and running away to China?
Kill a few commies for me, will ya?

  8. i hear sda is censured their like everything else.
    that isn’t chicken ur eating
    have fun

  9. If you can’t make the subway there, stop into Vancouver on the return, and try the SkyTrain … same experience.

  10. Have a safe trip Kate.
In the meantime , I will try and get a response from Conrad Black, what his intentions are regarding reclaiming his Canadian Citizenship.
So far has remained evasive in his last response to me.

  11. Have a good trip, Kate. Don’t forget to buy your carbon credits, Uncle Al needs to fuel up the houseboat for the summer. Lol

  12. Ya, do the world’s inhabitants an immense favor – flush out Maurice Strong !!

  13. Joe Molnar wrote, re. Conrad Black, “So far has remained evasive in his last response to me.”
That’s ’cause he’s in jail. The walls have ears.

  14. “chutzpahticular”
I am getting off topic here, but the fact Conrad Black is in prison in the US, does not mean that his reclaiming his Canadian Citizenship is out of the question.
Why don’t you email him yourself “chutzpahticular”, he will reply.
One proviso of course is that you cannot hide behind an ” internet Pseudonym” when you email him but will need to identify yourself.
Apologies to Kate, for going off topic on her “BLOG NOTES” posting, but hey, Kate knows I want Conrad back in Canada as soon as he is able, to involve his media expertise to national conservative voiced TV.
And Kate, don’t waste your energy on Maurice Strong, Canada’s expatriate communist.
    Stay safe!!

  16. “What’s Conrad Black’s e-mail address?”

This address will reach Mr. Black
    Conrad Black
His reply will come through an intermediary email, which I will not post here.
    Joe Molnar

  17. OOPS!
This address will reach Mr. Black
    Conrad Black: cbletters@gmail.com
Incidentally, I have alerted Mr. Black to Kate as well as her tremendously successful Canadian conservative SDA blog.

  18. Thanks, Joe. Should I email inmate Conrad Black, I would of course use my legal name. One thing I will say for Lord Black, he *does* have chutzpah.

  19. I’ve had a number of exchanges with Mr. Black. He is well-spoken, interesting correspondent who replies in a timely fashion given his circumstances.
