    The Socialist’s attack on US Medicare, which has been deducted as payroll taxes (Federal Insurance Contributions Act.) FICA since 1966, is not going to be tolerated. The Socialists have been using the Payroll SS/Medicare fund to pay for every social program they can’t pass in Congress…. It’s become the equivalent of “United Way” for social programs.
    The SS/Medicare funding has been stolen from those that paid. Disability, illegal aliens, Child Medicaid all find money in the SS/Medicare fund. The existing benefits paid out to legitimate recipients have been reduces by at least an order of magnitude (10X)
    The savings mythologies presently employed for Medicare are blatantly discriminatory. They simply reduce the payments to doctors & hospitals to 76% of billing. This results in unavailable access (not open to new patients) for the elderly to the best clinics. The Medicare patients are second class (its like traveling by flying Standby) for health services.
    The old folks are scheduling BUS tours to reconnoiter the home of the snake (enemy). Black Rock, 30 Rock, and the Meadowlands are leading destinations….We are not some dumb ME twits that think the MSM are friendly

  32. I think a key problem with the Obama administration, apart from its rabid socialist ideology, is the lack of leadership at the Executive and senior Administrative level.
    Obama is not a leader; he’s a salesman. Of himself. That’s all he can do, and all he must do. He requires the adulation and accolades of an adoring audience. Daily and constantly. He needs to feel that he controls others.
    He’s not interested in the infrastructure of the American economy, health care, national security – nothing.
    Senior administration have a different agenda; the socialization of America.
    This means that there’s a gap in the governing of the country. Who is making the policies? Obama is quite happy to hand over this task to Pelosi, Reid and others. But he’s not happy with dissent and rejection.
    How long can his Administration keep Obama as the Salesman, keep him feeling adored, prevent his anger at dissent – and, get their socialist policies through?

    The left, however, knows how to laugh at itself and allows criticism of its prominent celebrties. Witness the joker flap, its only rightoids that are serious about this.
    The right on the other hand is far too serious and too full of its own self importance. Both character flaws which keep it from rising or reaching its full potential.
    Personally I would like to make the move to the right of the bench but can’t relate to attitude.

  35. Debt and deficit are the top concerns of Americans and will remain so for the next few decades. Their patience with leaders who want to talk about and act on anything else is running out.
    The politician(s) who starts to focus on it and start providing answers as to how the country can get out of the mess will get a very large audience. If it is simply a ‘increase taxes’ meme they will be cast aside. If it is a ‘cut spending, reform the tax code and drastically reduce regulation’ meme then they will get support from almost every political corner.
    Obama looks to be talking himself into lame duck status by Christmas.

    Is this a joke?
    I know what the Left thinks of people.
    I don’t wonder why people vote Liberal, they do it because the Liberals rob Peter to pay Paul and Paul can therefore be counted on to vote Liberal.
    What keeps Conservatism in the “minority” section is that conservfative majority status depends on people to vote for their own individual right to keep the fruits of their labour while the socialist voter is voting to take the fruits of other people’s labour to stay ahead.
    I think the key to majority status would be to remove collective bargaining from public sector unions, who are basically bargaining from a monopoly position.
