Imagine what could happen with cars, aircraft, industrial processes, medical procedures and etc. etc. etc.

In fact, one of the things that characterized the last election was the immunity the CPC had from repercussions to gaffes. Elections are won by those that are not afraid of saying, doing something that “may” mean something else to someone else.
A point of the cartoon, if that is what it is, is to project an idea. Sometime it hits, sometime it misses.
Even if it misses, it will resonate with some. Even if it hits, some will find it of no value.
If Joe wants to just win an election, just because, maybe he should align with the socialists, they want to win, just because, they have absolutely no clue what would they do if they won other than run the country into the ruin.
