  11. Oh my, that is a very unattractive picture. Didn’t a banana contribute to the downfall of Robert Stanfield? I believe the Pope and possibly the Queen do not chew the fat in public. Ignatieff should take notes from seasoned veterns of the “barbeque pork” circut. By the way I love pork – especially sweet and sour. Cheers.

  20. Canadian Sentinal – never, ever apologize to a Liberano, for anything- they stole millions of $$ from regular Canadians like you and me. We did not get any free pork; why should they? Who paid for that pig that P-iggy was was swilling? I would bet the farm that P-iggy didn’t pay a thin dime for that pork.
    This picture represents a lot more than a sandwich.
    Your statements were mild compared to what seethes in the back of all of our minds when we see Liberanos and ‘pork’ in the same sentence.

  27. Bob Stanfield sat quietly eating a banana as his leadership campaign cruised to victory. His later problem was courtesy of the MSM, even back then their bias was fully in flower. Throwing out passes with a football to those trying to kill time while waiting to board election campaign transport, he fumbled one of the return throws from a receiver and dropped it. The photo of the “clumsy conservative oaf who couldn’t even hold a football but wanted to be prime minister” provided the MSM with one of their gifts to the Trudeau Lieberals. The irony was that Stanfield had a good amateur athletic background as a footballer and was a good team player. His rival, who was fawned over by the media for driving a Mercedes and having expertise on the diving board apparently did not find team sports or some other group activities that interesting.

  29. One can only hope for this kind of a moment in their life. I look at this situation and can only hope and pray for a dude like Iggy to try to cut into the line in front of me.
    He would get the same treatment any a-hole gets at Tim Horton when they try to horn-into a line that is already there. I am definitely NOT polite with and would give no quarter – especially to a Canadian who knows more about America than he does about WESTERN Canada.

  32. Regarding the picture…. No, it’s not very flattering at all to Iggy but unlike Stanfield and the football, Stock Day in a wet-suit and PMSH in a bad-fitting (bad overall) cowboy motif, I doubt you’ll ever see this picture in the MSM. They (the MSM) will never surrender – they will simply vanish slowly like the dinosaurs they are….
