    Funny how personal involvement blinds a person to the correct course.
    Now that only took him a week, or was it 10 days ago?
    All the elements were there, family, a shot from higher up so he looked like he was belw the viewer, I am sure he put visine in his eyes, I think he has a lazy eye by the way (doesnt matter just obvious in that shot).
    If he had only done this awhile ago, or better yet, if he didnt pick insignificant fights then he wouldnt get so caught out. But too late for change I suspect.

    WK has adopted an aboriginal child, I believe.
    Whether that is his daughter or not I couldnt say, and wouldnt. Best to leave any speculation or comments about peoples children out of the conversation, just wise and saves our hostess any potential problems.

    I think it is good politics for Iggy to allow MP’s to vote how they’d like(this time). PMSH only requires 12 more votes; therefore, Iggy can appear not to be like PMSH “the dictator”. That being said, wouldn’t it be interesting if PMSH calculate a safe # of Conservative MP’s that could vote against the so called “Liberal spending budget” and satisfy some of his own “c”onservative base? I know it’s all politics, and much too risky, but I still think it’s an interesting situation. After all everyone(except the Block and the Dippers) is voting for a bill they don’t like.

It’s not that what HE did was wrong, it’s if you took it wrong and were offended, AND if you’re of the appropriate race to be offended, then he apologizes. I guess that means that he thinks Warman is wrong for taking people to CHRC ’cause he’s not a member of the appropriate victim group?

    The reason Warren’s having trouble right now, along with Iggy and the demoralized rump of the Liberals living in the smoking ruin of their former majority, is that they’re wrong. People aren’t stupid. People are in fact -far- from stupid.
    What people in this country have been until recently is -misinformed-. By design. By the Canadian media and the American media as well. This is no longer the case, as the K-Man is suddenly discovering to his horror.

    For me the point has always been that WK has made a living making other peoples’ lives a living hell for spouting similar off-colour comments. For THAT he should pay! Live by the sword, die by the sword. Also he occupies a somewhat public position and needs to maintain a higher standard than the rest of us and especially a higher standard than the obscure wretches that he’s gone after with human wrongs witchhunts!

    and on a serious note, you are bang on with your comment, ‘cept we must not forget that he, as a public figure, very publicly , made a serious error in judgement, which could have a detrimental, effect on the “victims” (restaurant owners), which could be viewed as a cause for suing. I actually found his comments funny, but in his case, very stupid.

  50. Hey Edward, Blazing Saddles was good, but did you ever see a movie called ‘Evil Roy Slade’? I think it was before blazing saddles. It starred John Astin. Very funny. Hard to find though. Some really great lines.
