Where Is The CBC’s Neil MacDonald And What Have You Done With Him?

Red Alert: CBC Journalist Abducted?
Evidence contained at this page indicates that the 19-year veteran of CBC television news may have been kidnapped and his computer used to access the CBC website. Partway through the message, it appears MacDonald struggles free to send an encoded cry for help (“Different, eh?”), before being subdued.
Anyone who knows of the whereabouts of Neil MacDonald is advised to contact his captors, and request they keep him.

  1. Perhaps he is in the long queue of CBC staffers outside the Al Jazeera Hiring Office. After all, isn’t CBC the designated incubator of Al Jazeera’s english language broadcasters – treasonous turncoat pieces of dog-turd like Avi Lewis – son of oratorial gasbag Stephen Lewis.
Ah, CBC. The CBC also needs to: FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL.
FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL. FIRE. THEM. ALL.

Umm, just visiting but this place is beginning to sound like sour milk, and making the cbc (at least cbc.ca, which admittedly has had to open up a bit) seem like fresh air. The piece by Macdonald was giving the Human Rights Gestapo a tanning in public – i.e., among people who don’t spend their lives chattering at sda.
I’m with Lori. (Ummm, actually, I’m not. I don’t want to get Lori in trouble. I like her.) She noted that the comment that gets mutual applause here at sda doesn’t do much to let the general public – and most of us still prefer beer to blogging – concerned about the constipating effects of Twee Speech laws here in the people’s democratic republic of.
For the Loris among us, maybe we should get out more. If we were to leave our comments at RealClearPolitics and suggest to the Yanks they could have some influence on the issue by posting comments at cbc.ca and the glib and mayo – you know, like Tucker Carlson’s remark that Canadians reminded him of the retarded brother you meet every Thanksgiving – then our fellow citizens might pay more attention to the issue.
What was it Anne of Green Gables said about sitting in a closet and finding out what people really think of you? It seems to create a certain cognitive dissonance, and less certainty in one’s smug political correctness.
People listen to the Yanks. They may not admit it, but they do.
Anyway if people were to do more posting about Canada’s Twee Speech Gestapo at Yank blogs and get them to do more posting at the Glib and M, this issue could get a little hotter.
    Get Lori involved. Lori’s sharp.
    Thank you for listening.
