Best forgotten. That seems to be the policy at the Liberal Party website. Check out his official biography. It never mentions anything after the leadership race of November 2003. In fact, it doesn’t even mention that he won the race in November 2003.
Remember how they said Paul Martin’s tenure as prime minister would be relegated to a footnote? Looks like if the Liberal Party has its way, he’d be lucky to have footnote.
All the details are at Angry in the Great White North.

He is best forgotten. A nightmare, that I couldn’t trust.
While it is widely known that Martin coveted the idea of being PM,mostly because of his father, when his dream finally came true he had no clue of what to do with it.Mr. Dithers indeed!
I am still disgusted by his performance in this past election,I mean really….from “soldiers in the streets with guns” to warnings to the east of “you don’t want to be ruled by Calgary do you?”.He put his party clearly before his country.
He did more to further separist causes in Quebec and the west than any declared separist in recent years.
To me he epitomized all that I hate in a politician.Good fucking riddance!
Paul who?
Paul Who?
The transformation of AdScam Chretien/Martin’s Liberal party is now completed.
The new party is: The Socialist Power Corp. Party of Canada. The leader will be “Rae Days” Bob Rae. Or will he?
Jeancula Chretien’s left-hand man is Fast Eddie Goldenberg.
Question: Could Rae be a mouthpiece/stalking horse for the return of AdScam Chretien? Betcha a coffee.
More: lokkee at this:Bob Rae, John Rae & Power Corp. Yikes…. the Librano$$$$$$$$$$ return/revenge. +
Rae and Goldenberg share a friendship that dates back 30 years, and both Goldenberg and Chretien are close to Rae’s brother, John Rae, an influential Liberal fundraiser and executive at Power Corp
Rae sets stage for Liberal leadership run
(CP) – Former Ontario NDP premier Bob Rae, backed by former prime minister Jean Chretien’s right-hand man, will set the stage Monday for a likely Liberal leadership run with a speech in Winnipeg outlining challenges facing the country.

To be fair, it was the Bloc that warned that Calgary would decide for Qubec.
I found the lack of information on Paul Martin on the Liberal website amusing. For linking purposes I always used the official PMO’s website, but now I have to go and change all the links. I might as well destroy all links to Martin anyways — you just know that soon enough, all trace of Martin will be removed from the party website (once Martin’s successor is elected and Martin resigns as MP).
By the way, it’s funny how Martin’s bio still has a filename of primeminister_e.aspx.
Paul will be remembered only as a pimple on the ass of the great Liberal Machine. Chretien has the last laugh! I hope the Auditor General will wipe the smile off both their faces.
I was never a fan of ex-PMPM but, it’s interesting to see how quickly they forget (or hide?) those that are no longer useful to them… I wonder if he’ll show up in parliament in april…
yep the peter principle definately kicked in there . damn, an he wanted his daddy to be proud of him so bad . . power corp . maybe i oughta spell my name different
Down the memory hole he goes!
The CBC remembers, though.
Well, one thing to his credit though:
Together with Chretien, he has the distinction of having led the worst Federal government this country has seen since Confederation. 🙂
Paul Who?
Damn it feels good to say that.
Oh, someone already beat me to it lol
Fat Paulie is going to WISH, Canada’s justice system could forget about him.
“He is best forgotten. A nightmare, that I couldn’t trust.”
Steve… whatever
Liberals will forget, they always forget, they NEVER remember anything!!!
Remember what socialism has wrought, NOPE
Every single time socialism has ever been in power ….nope, forgot.
Never elect the forgetful!
They are Librano$$$
