Angry in the Great White North watches as the same-sex marriage legislation is now being side-tracked, after promises to get the legislation through quickly before the summer break.
He notes that Irwin Cotler doesn’t seem to have the Prime Minister’s ear, or as Angry puts it:
Perhaps Irwin Cotler should spend more time listening to the echoes reverberating from his boss. Clearly Cotler’s opinions are not “resonating”.

I think I have lost whatever small concern I ever had for this issue. I SSM going to change anybody’s lives for the worse. No. Will gay’s lives be improved by this? I don’t see how. I say it is time for the CPC shut the hell up about this subject(abortion too). Let the liebrals HAVE IT! I’m just soooo sick and tired of having it used as a weapon against the far right…

What freedom with this bill give gays that they

I think that bill c-38 is just a stepping stone
to a secret agenda that is not about equal
rights but about giving gays special perivalages.
It is not illegal for two or more people (adults)
to have consentual sex in privet for more than
20 years and nobody has gone to jail
for it for more than 100 years.
20 years is a lot time to have sex for…I’m lucky if I last 20 minutes.

So I guess you’re fine with the idea of them suing every school board in the country to force them into indoctrinating future generations of Canadians (ie your children & grandchildren) with the concept that homosexual relationships are a perfectly normal and desireable outcome? This has already been tried (eg “Jane has two Mommies” readers) and so far they’ve lost. But with gay marriage federally legitimized, this will be a given.
So what proportion of the population do you suppose will end up being gay if you indoctrinate children from an early age with the idea that being gay is a perfectly normal lifestyle CHOICE? Just because millenia of human evolution did not produce this result doesn’t mean that Irwin “Sing if you’re glad to be gay” Cotler and the lie-bribe-all glee club can’t legislate it to be so.
This legislation isn’t about equality. It’s about forced legitimization.
Being gay is not a choice. Centuries of heterosexual propaganda has failed to suppress it. Kids who are heterosexual will continue to be heterosexual, and kids who are homosexual will have fewer reasons to hate themselves.
What is unfortunate is that it seems that telling a couple a to “get a room” will probably net me a trip to the human rights tribunal if the couple happens to be gay.
Time to protect Religious Freedom for Public Officials at work in Canada
The time has come for Canada to legislate protection for the religious freedom of public officials. According to a CP article,
Sexual preference is shaped by our environment, upbringing, drinking water etc. PROVE ME WRONG! You can’t. There is no scientific evidence for how sexual preference begins. Face it. You don’t know. And I’ll admit that I don’t know either.
The agenda is to shut this truth up and close down debate. My question is “why can’t we talk about it?” Why can’t we be open and be honest about this. We’ll never know the truth, if this question of origins remains taboo. And don’t you think that both gays, staights, pedophiles etc would benefit from understanding this more?
It’s a simple question.

Have we even thought about children’s dictionaries and that by changing the meaning we are normalizing this to the youngest of our kids? At our library there is a book that has a child SAD that they only have ONE Mommy and ONE Daddy. I don’t remember the exact wording, but it was frustrating. I am already looked down on for not herding my child into the daycare kennel. Now they’re not going to be “properly socialized” in the ways of homosexuality.
I find it very interesting that 10 years ago women in university were told that they had been subsumed under patriarchal ideology when they said they were getting married, but now all the gays want to do it. Have they been subsumed under matriarchal ideology? The double standard is stunning. I don’t want to know what they are going to try and teach my 3 and 4 year olds, so I am homeschooling, but still paying taxes for public school. Another 2 tier idea whose time has come!
