It is quite telling that people in communist or theocratic dictatorships like Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, Hong Kong carry the USA flag as a symbol of freedom to demonstrate against the oppression of these dictatorships. The left loves to talk about “privilege”. Is there any act more an act of privilege than a spoiled lefty burning a US flag in the US?

  2. Shooting « freedom » IS anti government…after all remember the anti lockdown demonstrations and how OUR government reacted…were just the same as Cuba except our stomachs don’t know it just yet.

      And it is my contention that the REAL reason we are seeing these demonstrations in Cuba … NOW … is because Cubans are watching as half of Central America casually walks across the Southern border into the USA … and get loads of FREE SHIT.

          It’s like me wanting to understand why the two (white) English guys MADE their penalty shots … but the three (black) English players all MISSED their Penalty shots? But the race pimps of today INSIST I “notice” race in EVERYTHING. So … I am just trying to be all woke and whatnot.

  5. Not surprising coming from a paper that published Walter Duranty and his Stalin-boot-licking propaganda. They covered up the Soviet plans to liquidate the kulaks and they covered up the Holodomor. Citing “Freedom” as an anti-government slogan comes right out of the paper’s stylebook.

  7. Healthcare — Control healthcare, and you control the people.
    Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
    Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

    What are any of you willing to give up, to be free. Your Canada health card? The time is coming when people will have to decide. I am already quite certain where 99% of people are going to line up.

  9. Went to cuba several times to fish the flats ….. most of the doctors drove cabs because it payed better . The shitty guides there made more in a day on tips than doctors in several months

  11. It had to happen…it was always doing a slow boil just beneath the surface. Don’t want to go into specifics but I went there once. Nuff said.
    Asked several workers when I had them alone what life was like in Cuba…”Senor…life is very very difficult here”. Not gonna argue with that. Gave a Cuban a USB stick I had…he was so grateful I thought he was going to have an aneurysm. The one hour bus ride from the airport (the airport is an experience in and of itself – to characterize airport employees as abject aholes would be a compliment) was a treat as well…there you’re fed propaganda for the duration of the trip from the guy at the front, proud as a peacock with his electronic cutting edge “Mr.Microphone” telling us all how wonderful it was in Cuba. It was an endless grift from the day I arrived to when I left, and in retrospect…I can’t blame them.
    Hospitals? Oh please, what a fng mess. I’d bet there are crack houses with better facilities. And the infrastructure is a god damned disgrace which had you questioning the structural integrity of every bridge you crossed, what with all the spalled concrete and exposed rusted rebar. I guess I should’ve been thankful they used rebar.
    Rolling through a town on the way back to the airport I observed empty shops and streets and sidewalks strewn with dog feces, witnessed a male dog having his way with a female dog on the sidewalk, let’s just say they really enjoyed each other’s company. I’m sure the irony was lost on the propagandist at the front of the bus who did his best to keep all eyes focused on him.
    Hilarious.
    Heard some years ago an editor from the Globe and Mail was quitting and leaving Canada along with his wife to make Cuba his home. LOL…how’s that working out for you Trotsky?
