” The leagues major, their morals are a minor consideration”
MLB, Coke and Delta each get their turn in the outfield of woke corporate virtue signaling in Steyn’s latest monologue.

MLB can go eat a big bag of dook.
Baseball is dead to me.
Grey
I’m at the point where ALL Pro Sports can kiss my (_i_).
Have Hockey Jerseys (Flames), up for sale.
Cancelled and will NEVER again subscribe to NHL.com to watch games.
Nor tune in on U-tube to watch replays.
I do NOT nor EVER will support TERRORIST Organizations such as BLM or those 2 bit Punks, AntiFa…..or any organization that “bends the knee”. And that includes most of the major brands on the planet.
How can the Communists operating MLB actually ALLOW Cuban defectors to play in their league!? How can they allow big hitting Cuban players to earn tens of millions of Yankee dollars while their fellow countrymen are starving on their feet? How DARE they!
Kenji, easy question:
Communism is not about any other principle than RAW BRUTAL power and money. There is no cognitive dissonance in communism (outside the the university staff lounge).
Time to reintroduce the fine Roman practice of proscription.
All sportzball can suck eggs. They produce nothing of value but have the gall to lecture those who do.
Used to watch hockey until the millionaires went on strike.
Used to watch NFL, though sporadically, until they took the knee. Still like the super bowl excepting the non sport show.
Used to watch and participate in baseball until the millionaires went on strike.
Now its full time ranting and raving about things, listening to the CBC stereo minus the yappers, while the classical music is on.
If anybody can point out a good classical music station, tell, it will ease the anxiety of listening to the Communist Broadcasting Corporation.
Have you tried internet Radio stations?
SiriusXM’s service is available as a live stream to subscribers. I gave up entirely on CBC when, during its Saturday afternoon opera program, one of the guests who was interviewed started whining about how she, being Black, was subjected to “systemic racism”.
Hello, SiriusXM……
Try this;

BBC Radio 3 is likely woke.

Ok its no longer BBC radio player just Radio Player.
Radioplayer is a partnership between the BBC and UK Commercial Radio. Together we’ve developed a player that gives audiences a simple and consistent online listening experience. Radioplayer allows you to discover and listen to live and on demand radio from Ofcom licensed UK radio stations.
The Radioplayer console will pop up to play audio when you click to listen live or play listen again content on BBC Radio websites. It’s similar in appearance to the previous BBC console with some lovely features including the ability to search for live and on demand radio from stations across the UK.

babylonbee nails it…
ATLANTA, GA – “‘Spokespeople‘ for Major League Baseball announced today
that the All-Star Game this summer will be moved from Atlanta, due to its
egregious voting laws, to a Uyghur prison camp yard, where there aren’t
any bad voting laws at all.”
“Most importantly, the prison camp has no ban on early voting, since there
is no voting, and no law against giving voters water, since there are no voters.
Or water.”

I’m old and I have never spent time in my life watching sports and very little time watching TV in general. I have often reflected over the years on how many tens of thousands of hours of life I have enjoyed by doing things rather than sitting around watching others do things.
I’m a sports agnostic myself. The only time I followed the CFL was during the heyday of the Edmonton Nolongerallowedtocallthemselveseskimosthankstodumbassdonnie.
While I was an undergrad, I watched a few games by the institution’s teams. Post-secondary level hockey is fast, clean, and, at times, exciting. Maybe it’s because one’s friends or classmates are often among the ones on the ice.
When I lived in Saskatoon, I enjoyed the Saskatoon Blades. It was cheap, it was down the street, it was pretty good hockey. The beer was the same.
Oh, and by the way, 70 years old, lean and fit, very active…
I am decades ahead of my time.
Since about 12, I’ve watched no pro sports (sic).
Francisco: that’s no triple. That’s a homer. With the bases loaded, 3 runs behind in the bottom of the 9th.
In support of the alphabet people, will baseball be dropping the term “homer”?
Good for you YOP.
And Kenji…its all about the money.
Not some high moral principle.
Hit them where they live. Boycott.

Honestly, I miss watching pro sports, as it was a big part of my life growing up. I watched everything with my dad and learned so much from him, about the game(s) and life. Sundays were church, then NFL. Even after I moved out of the house, I’d still go home to watch the big games/tournaments with him (The Masters, Wimbledon, Super Bowl, World Series, etc.). None of my siblings shared this kind of bond with our dad. My husband and I love MLB (baseball brought us together) so it’s hard to cut the cord. It’s coming though. We are so tired of the hypocrisy, politics, and virtue signalling. We’ll still be watching The Masters this week. Unless they move it to Colorado, lol.
If we have a CFL season this year, I’ll keep my sports channels to the end of the season. If not, they’re getting cancelled as soon as the announcement is made.
The only thing that these idiots understand is money.
Give them less of it.
Thumbs up!
Vote with your dollars, by not spending them on woke trash!
Major league sports have been an important part of American culture. I think the destruction is deliberate. Family, churches, sports nationhood — all aspects of a person’s identity. The Communist globalist takeover requires destruction of the nation state.
LindaL, I think you are correct! Welcome to the reality of the great reset.
I’ve never been interested in any of the TV sports or in person stuff for that matter. If it ain’t got wheels, I have no interest, so boycotting something I’ve never followed is easy. My only gripe is paying for sports channels on TV packages, even though I have zero interest. I’ve tried to have them removed from my line up and can’t get it done. I would cut the “cord” but have a great problem with any tech, (luddite affliction) so am not sure how to achieve that state of nirvana. If I still had a VCR, it would also still be flashing 12.00. 12.00, 12.00! Jeez, I even have an alarm clock I can’t program. I need to hire a ten year old tech consultant.
“Major league sports have been an important part of American culture. I think the destruction is deliberate.”
huh, good point.
Although I think the pandering to the woke celebrity cult and the Chinese communist party is strong with these multi-millionaire owners and operators.
Waitress: We have Coke, is that ok?
Me: Ice water please.
I like watching rugby. Great sport. They get paid shit. Of course nobody carries in in Canada because, well, hockey! They would take a knee in hockey too, but its too cold for the little pre-Madonna’s.
Rugby is a gentleman’s sport. No padding. A lot of negotiation is done in the scrum. Debts, your wife/gal friends, your pub tab. You lost? Better luck next week. The post game beers are to loosen the stiff muscles. You’re buying.
