Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Groovy. Very interesting look at old and new technology.
“Groovy”, foobert? Indeed, you wax eloquent!
Ace Tate!
Hmm. I bought that “Switched On Bach” new, back in a day. Still have it. One of the earliest commercial renditions of classical music using a synthesizer…
oops, I fell asleep
Hoe new is new technology? The most advanced in this story is at least 15 years old. SEMs have been around for a long time. I think SEMs have been around for 20-30 years. By the way, the O-scopes and signal processors have been around for 50 years. It is nice information, but as lot of people have done this.
Think this guy recycles old lab gear. I used to use transmission EMs in 1966 and scan models appeared in labs by 69 or so. Storage scopes were a little bit later, but hell, I built a Heathkit digital scope in the early 60s…
Oops -need to correct my post – The Heath was a semiconductor analog, not a digital scope…
His equipment may not be “cutting edge”, but I can’t say I have the latest version of any of his equipment, or ANY version for most of it. How many people here have a scanning electron microscope in their hobby room?
I thought the video was entertaining and I learned a few things. And he has lots of other videos. Applied Science got his 150,007th subscriber today when I subscribed.
